The Mercedes-Benz GLE (2019) is impressive in many disciplines. What is it particularly good at? We will find out - on our test drive through the Dolomites.
Models only available in selected markets. Vehicles show optional equipment depending on individual configuration and respective markets.

I used to remember when I first saw the W163 ML 320 way back in the year 2000 (12 years old at that time) in the motoring magazines and I kept pestering my parents to buy me a 1:18 scale of ML 320 from Maisto, and it was the most beautiful SUV ever.
Fast forward 19 to 20 years later, I still find that Mercedes-Benz still maintain that beauty especially those significant wraparound rear screens, and of course equipped with all new technologies and engines. Good job guys. 👍😍

Why is the title name "The New GLE (2019)? This clearly a 2020 LGE450 model.
The market launch of the New GLE actually took place last year, this is the reason of the title.
It’s misleading. I did a search for 2019 GLE and this came up with 2019 in the title. Very misleading

The Lost World: Jurassic Park!!!
It's actually the Dolomites but we do see some similarities! 🤣
Mercedes-Benz oh no! I’m referring to what the gentlemen said about the viewers remembering the GLE from the 90s movie! So the first generarion of this vehicle was used in The Lost World: Jurassic Park. MB used the movie to promote the then new luxury SUV. Fun Fact: Jurassic World (One of the new ones) was used to introduce the GLECoupe before it came out
Mercedes-Benz I know all these facts because since I was little this car has been my dream car! I even had a toy remote version of the Jurassic Park version in the 90s
I am ditching VW this year, skip Audi and just head to the Mercedes family. This new dashboard has definitely won me over.

Everything you need to know is this: a 2014-2019 ML/GLE is FAR MORE powerful and practical, ESPECIALLY if you consider most can be purchased for LESS THAN HALF WHAT THIS NEW ONE COSTS and it's incredibly simple to resell private party as you don't have the impossible challenge of passing on that $5-10k "market adjustment" markup that your dealer very kindly tacked onto your 4 cyl 2020 version.... The new one should NOT be selling this hot if anyone was being even remotely intelligent with their money. But, maybe that's the real appeal, you are showing not just the stupid but also the intelligent rich neighbors of your's that you can afford to lose. I guess that's a sign of real wealth. Otherwise, re-read my first sentence above. :)

I guess you should know that there are more defects in the vehicle than you might expect. Climate control, collision avoidance, multi beam lights, interior quality all have issues. Perhaps the worst aspect is the parts to remedy are ALWAYS on back order.

Mercedes-Benz : of course you can promote it in 2020. But if your channel is part of Mercedes Daimler company, then this contradicts your website. And just about every other website and channel. The car in this video appears to be the 2020 model.
We can assure you that it's the 2019 model but we released the video to promote it this year. Nothing contradictory about that in our opinion. 🙂

Very poor video! Still need to prove that it’s a good off reader. This video shows an suv driving in towns and country side. Something which all cars do.
I was sorely disappointed in this video. I do so love M-B, but to call this "off road" is an insult to all the people who take cars and trucks really off-road. This was maybe "off tarmac" or "on slightly unimproved roads" but not "off-road" by any stretch of the imagination. Here I was, waiting to see how it did in rock climbing or mud pits not just a little drive in the country.
