Good to see you with your own boat now. I remember you talking about wanting to buy one in the earlier videos. You need a hobby to give you a reason for working, and its good you can enjoy it with your wife which makes it worthwhile. As i have always said, no point earning money if you don,t spend it. It would be worthwhile going to Finland just to catch up with you one day, maybe sometime in the future would be interesting to visit there one day. Thanks again for the video. Regards Peter.
Totally cool Man! When I was growing up my Dad had a 42ft Gaff rig catch made in Norway in 1922 and it had gone around the world 3 times... We had all the Captain's log books.... We sailed the Gulf of Mexico... It was great fun for me as a young man... I'm very happy for you,,, take care..... :o) O,,,
That engine brings back memories of a summer over thirty years ago when I helped a friend with Yanmar dealership. Glad to see Yanmar now use a proper oil filter rather than the daft multi disc style that nobody ever bothered to turn regularly.
I recognize the Finnish flag. It's usually hanging in second or third place after a hockey tournament. I'm kidding but you know that, right? Greetings from Canada and thanks for the videos.
Luckily there is almost no French tech at all in the boat ! The boat was also available with a Renault engine. That's the last thing I would depend on :-D..!
It's a Finnish made Wallas! Many boats have Ebers here though. I think it will take some more sailing practise until we get outside our own waters :-D!
You know the definition of a sailboat. A device that makes a hole in the water through which you put large sums of money (usually $100 USD bills). The corollary states "If it only $100 bills it can not be a very big boat". Otherwise very nice. I once owned an Ericson 27 it was similar to yours. I had many hours of enjoyment sailing San Francisco Bay. If your boat is anything like mine you spend about 2hours on maintenance for every hour on the water. With all that I loved every minute and I'm sure you and your Wife do as well.
How do you spend so much time and money working on a sailboat :-D? So far the only things I've invested in are the new compass and sonar. About 500 money combined and they will last a decade or more hopefully. I can imagine a sporty motorboat being expensive but not a sailboat.
There is a locked gate to the pier and video surveillance. The boat hatches are locked of course. Not much more to be done about it :-(. Never heard of anybodys boat getting vandalised in this area though.

Haha, I must admit that you are right! You guys always win even though you dont even bother to send your best players :-D!
3 words to add to your English vocabulary: tiller, head & galley.
Lovely sailboat. Did you choose the name, or was it called that when you bought it?
She was already named when we got her :-).
So does the boat have wonderful French electrics ,a nice change from the usual videos thanks

Would the heater be an Eberspaecher?
Don't forget, if your boat is in international waters or in foreign waters you must fly your flag.

Who takes care of all those boats..... no worries that someone can steal them? No worries they can be vandalised?
There's a chain with a lock tying the boat to the dock, nothing's going to happen.
