- Nyjah Huston pushes me to get back on my rail skating. I had a great session with Nyjah and Sean Malto at the park before hitting the weekend with the primitive team. Trent Mcclung battles out $500 dollar frontside nose slide. Jonny Hernandez got a clip over the weekend as well. stayed tuned for more mixes like this.

Paul Rodriguez, also known as “P-Rod” was recognized as a prodigy at the young age of 14, only two years after he started skating. His consistency, effortless style and persistence on his board led Paul to travel far from his home town of Northridge, CA to the City Streets around the world as a part of the legendary City Stars team. His passion for skating and filming with his friends led to his breakout part in Logic 6 in 2000, Street Cinema in 2001 and landed him Rookie of the Year in 2002 for his part in Tranworld’s video production “In Bloom.” He turned pro later that year.
Paul bought his first skateboard at the age of 12. When he’s not skateboarding, Paul enjoys studying the lives of influential individuals, including his favorites such as Alexander the Great and Bruce Lee.
Paul currently lives in Los Angeles.

I don't think we will ever see the level of mastery that Nyjah has achieved. This man is throwing nolli heel crook on big hubbas every. damn. try. The tricks he pulls off are so difficult but not even with pressure he misses. Crazy

@@LJ7000 Well you could argue that nyjah has his own style, but it's just robotic or stiff. In any case I am talking about pure mastery and ability, not really counting style.

Even street skaters who did take it 'serious', overall in the end, didn't really, there was always this silly or casual attitude underneath it all. Nyjah is a bit different and that reflects in his style he's all business
@@LJ7000 I completely agree with you but that doesn't mean he should get as much hate as he does for example. I feel like sometimes we just underappreciate figures like nyjah and how much they pushed skateboarding (imo he was the clear soty for example).
Seeing Malto getting it is so rare and inspiring.
people can try to act like they don’t like nyjah because of how he dresses or they think he is corny but that dude is one of the best to ever touch a skateboard hands down. unreal watching the level he can still skate at.

Nyjah goes from 0 to 100 switch heel crooks. Sick switch backside trailside Paul perfect. And Jonnys flip nose slide at the end wow board control.
I haven’t skated in 20 years but I still watch and love P-Rod, Nyjah and Malto.

Thanks for these videos Paul. I just started skating again with my 7 yr old after 30 years. It’s much harder than I remember with 50 xtra lbs and falling hurts more than I remember, but watching you and the boys just having fun and still killing after all these years is dope.
