i have noticed also the same thing many years ago,i told you why it's not well known
the MASSES always eat sh*t and we,the elites eat Nectar and divine wine,like the Gods.... if something ,example movie or book etc is very well-known doesn't mean it is worthy of it's huge success (best seller etc)
usually the very good things ,like this GREAT MANLY MANIME and not very well known, and are very well hidden..... same goes for great humans ,personalities etc
it's like you have to search on a video game and search all the huge map to find the easter eggs /secrets,the HIDDEN GEMS.......

everything after 2006 or 2010 at latest cannot compare/handle the manlyness and
