The anime is done by the same studio that created the Hokuto no Ken anime in the 80s, not to mention the mangaka wrote Sakigake Otokojuku as a parody of the uber-machist manga in those years and was on the same magazine as HnK.

When Hokuto no Ken 2 ended, on the next week, the same day of the week started Otokojuku.

This anime really needs a modern day anime adaptation. The original anime ended too early and the manga had way much more stuff.
Just imagine how hilarious it would be to see Twitter Keyboard Warriors and Tumblr degenerates complaining about Sakigake!! Otokojuku promoting "Toxic Masculinity".

Why my favourites ever are Yu Yu Hakusho, Beserk, Fist of north Star, HXH and Gto. All have strong relatable leads. i still like Underdog tales like Naruto and Hajime no ippo but now they go wayyy to the extreme (My hero academia) for example, i hate the main character

Except it's a 80's Anime... Sakigake Otokojuku anime started in February of 1988.
