    After watching 7 other tutorials I finally found your's Shelly - Perfect!
    You gave excellent instruction. Thank you. I'm glad you walked us through the corners in detail ( that's why I'm here) .
    I had been really struggling with the corners on my project for a neat (bulk free ) finish and tentative to cut away the bulk. My project is complete and I'm really pleased with the result.

    Thanks! The corners of my bench seat looks great, in spite of the fact that I was too nervous to cut the bulk off before rounding the corner.

      Thank you! I really would love a calm and clear voice. I'm glad you felt that I did. I need to upload the remainder of this project--sewing up the corners. Time is always illusive!! Thanks for watching.

    Amazing what equipment do I need to make this

    • @shellymillerleer
      @shellymillerleer  9 місяців тому

      You need either an electric or pneumatic stapler. I wouldn't even try it with a manual staple gun. It's too hard to do. You need a sturdy curved needle to stitch it and a good, sharp pair of scissors.

    Where can I purchase the spun Dacron poly filling??

    • @shellymillerleer
      @shellymillerleer  9 місяців тому

      You can get upholsterer's dacron batting from an upholstery supplier. The spun dacron is loose filling like the filling in pillows, only extremely soft. Not all spun poly is the same. This stuff is really silky and soft.

      It depends upon the size of your frame and the thickness of the padding. Do you have a frame?

    You taking to long to do the corners , I did one & I took less than 5 min. To do it

    • @shellymillerleer
      @shellymillerleer  6 років тому +10

      I wasn't trying to show how fast I could do it, I was slowly teaching people how to do it. Sometimes, people really need to see the slow and methodical process, not how fast you can do it. Thanks for your comment.

    You are a perfectionist. But ...waited for the start to finish and you spent waaaaay too much time on the corner !
