Nice! Is the fire used to eliminate bubbles? Also, do you use your fingers for the ModPodge instead of a paint brush in order to avoid streaks? I thank you for this tutorial, which seems a great alternative to UV resin with all the protection and care involved...
Hi Sylvie, yes the fire will get bubbles that are on the surface. I've tried a few methods of adding the dimensional magic, I'm finding this is the fastest with the fewest bubbles! It's a great alternative for a lot of things, UV resin is still stronger when it comes to keychains. I do have some resin alternatives coming in the new year, the post from the US to Canada is horrifically slow right now :(
I was looking for a nice way to make an ornament with a glitter back, but I guess I need to keep looking, because this method is soooo messy and there is so much glitter wasted, not for me, sorry ... but yours turned out ok
It need more directions on it. Links or name of product in description and steps
These are sooo cute!
I really like these! Great job!
Thanks so much!
What did you put before putting the glitter,? What did you seal it with?
What kind of Mod Podge are you using? You didn’t include a link or name in the description and the name if it is behind some text you put up.
Hi Monica. It’s called modge podge “dimensional magic” - thanks for watching!
What was the clear stuff you i
used please?
love it
Why did you burn them after applying the dimensional magic mod podge?
A little flame pops the bubbles. The key to dimensional magic is to try really hard not to get bubbles! They are really awful to try and get rid of!

Super cute what glitter are you using?
What type of vinyl do you use the glossy vinyl or the matte?
It doesn’t matter the resin is glossy so the end result will still be glossy. I do usually use glossy though :)
Super cute😍 😍 I'm still having issues cutting out small details on my cricut 😭😭
Patience! And tweezers. And sometimes you have to let go on the tiniest stuff 😂🤣
How did you ribbon the ornaments? On the back?
I get a hole cut into the ornaments when I have them cut.
Hi ! Great video!
Is that layer you peeled off after the glitter was done from the modpodge?
FYI- the blanks have a plastic covering on both sides to protect them. You would want to remove it before you add your design.
Thank you. Yes they have a protective layer. Usually it’s brown. I’m this case it was clear. It took me a minute to think about that one!

Why can’t you talk
in my more current videos I've been talking :)
Hi! Great video!

I think it’s the protection cover that comes with the acrylic blank … it prevents it from getting scratched
