It's neither creepy nor annoying!! You have to experience it in person to understand what I mean... sitting on the steps in the sun or lying on the grass (in the park behind the organ) in the shade, meditating or just dozing, is a one-of-a-kind experience!
When I visited the organ , I saw lots of other tourists walking the promenade looking for the organ. They arrived, fussed about a bit then five minutes later you’d see them sitting down blissed out.
As a self proclaimed Croatian who’s never been to the country and only lived in the US with no ancestry to Croatia at all, don’t besmirch my country’s beautiful beach music
I'm reading comments and most of people say it is creepy...point is,if you don't live by the sea you will never understand what this represents to domestic people...The sea is saying"I'm beautiful, but im also dangerous, big time dangerous...
@Tz_mzU1 I think you meant, "...and now you have to _live_ with it." And I agree, noise pollution stinks, and it's everywhere. In particular, I feel sorry for the animals of the ocean. They can't escape us humans, even in their watery home. Sad.
We visited Zahar in 2017 and experienced the Sea Organ. It is quite haunting. Such a beautiful waterfront, and our ship was small enough to dock very close to the Sea Organ. Travelled through the park and the small town just across the river....
I’ll be honest, I dont see it as creepy I’ve played piano for many years (not organ, but I have wanted to learn), and this just sounds like a piece that has contrasting parts. It’s no less beautiful, because somehow the contrasting parts work together to create something wonderful
+mr. smallmountain - i once saw a technical descriptiopn of it - the musical pipes are going down, then bend towards the sea and are open under water - so when the waves come in, the water presses into these pipes, thus creating the air pressure to create the sounds - that´s why the music is in perfect harmony with the waves - absolutely amazing, no? i love it - if i lived somewhere near there, i would spend much time listening, haha... :-)
I love it. The enthralling of the sounds, it takes me far away from reality, the evil stresses of life, the evil politicians of the world governments. Peaceful
Theoretically yes, if given an unlimited amount of time no matter how small the chance is eventually it will play all possible combinations and tunes. That being said that rests entirely on if it can actually Make the notes required to play said song
No. The organ is incapable of making certain sounds. It's sound making ability is finite. The Darude sandstorm sounds are synthetic. But if you're asking if Jesus create Darude sandstorm, then the answer is yes.
This should be something used in a surreal or scary video game . Either you go there or it just plays in the background somewhere else. Something like Silent Hill or Lovecraftian, but not necessarily as scary.
koliko čujem, oni koji žive u zgradama uz orgulje baš i nisu toliko sretni lako je nama koji prošetamo i malo zastanemo uz njih, ali oni koji to moraju slušati stalno... ja baš i ne bih
Anyone remember a few years ago, people were stumped over a sound around the world and they couldn’t figure out what it was or where it came from? I woke up to it earlier hours one night and this reminds me of it so much
Cool... if nature or the ocean had a sound this would be it... would be nice if they did that to so many other concrete wave breakers or blocks..where I live...
its haunting and melancholy --- it is as if the sea itself is singing a song appealing for us to listen and in return, to love the sea. . . Now if the melody suddenly sings to the Tune of, "Ocean Deep" . . .

Why isn't there a 24/7 Live Stream of the sea organ? This needs to happen.
Imagine if it had copyright lol
Too many turist making noise my friend
I agree
@@emadolenec749 i think because of tidal levels. the music is only when the tide is right.
Can I submit it be universally protected even if I've never seen it??!😂😂

Agreed. It is a great place to sit and be for a while. I found the Sea Organ relaxing.
Yeah it's epic to see it in person

Thank you all for you wonderful words about my town. Come back anytime you want.
As a Croatian, hearing this irl is a bit different. It hits so different at night time. If you hear this at night time, it's scary af.
fr when i used to go to croatia w my dad's family and i was like 5 yrs old i was literally shitting my pants it was so scary to me☠️

These comments are getting better as one goes down the line. Could barely breathe on the other one. Gosh I love you all
I was just wondering what it would be like to have to listen to that at night. I'd love it during the day--but not at night.
Mother nature is both haunting & beautiful at the same time... The music she makes is an exact representation of that...
@The Best
Mother Nature? Umm, this is a bunch of ugly-ass concrete steps. Ain't nothin' natural about this.
No, more like a man-made object that works similar to a pipe organ, but waves displace the air instead of an electric pump.
Its not nature you cretin
The ocean's no Beethoven but it's no Nickleback either so that's alright.
Funny.
Roll over Beachhoven?
What if Beethoven was the Nicleback of the 1700s
It is Adriatic sea
There is
The combination of both sounds of the waves and the organ are so soothing, it just made me feel sleepy! Seems like a zen place to hang around.
What?! 😂
We were there last week it was amazing. Everybody were in a meditativ state After a while, even our 10 years old son❤.
Live, its even better!
In case someone wanted background music in their lives
It doeant go that far. Zadar is massive. Only like 15 of 80 000 people who live there maybe hear it if they open all the windows.
@@mingo7929 yeah, it actually does, when the southern wind blows, and it really blows, you can hear it miles inland
It may sound bad but once your there and it's playing along side the waves it's amazing
I've been there with my family on 2019 and just a heads up it sound so much more magical and beautiful than on any wideo
Imagine a time when we're long gone and this organ is still playing. This feels like true science fiction come to life 🎉
Man that's awesome! I wish the waves in California would learn to play an instrument...

If this organ and the ocean existed at the same time for eternity, is it possible that it would play Darudes sandstorm at one point?
. . .
*Top ten questions science still cant explain*
This is not an ocean..this is a sea,...Adriatic sea...
