Hi, Very nice videos and nicely executed. A small suggestion, it would be great if you can also provide some good references at the end. Just in case someone wants to explore the topic further. Keep up the good work and keep producing more such videos.
Great suggestion. We will aim to add resources and links to the video descriptions. Thanks for your support!
thanks really hopeful and nice mustache
Hi, I think there is small error at 5:26, shouldn’t the titles of the two lists be the other way around? Facilities etc. are Infrastructural Decision Areas while Planning and Control are Structural Decision Areas?
Thank you! This is a valid question since we tend to equate infrastructure with buildings in everyday use of the word. Our use of "structural" vs. "infrastructural" decision categories are, however, aligned with the literature on operations strategy. One way to think of it is that Structural DA concerns the company's "hardware" (factories, IT equipment, etc.) while Infrastructural DA concerns the company's "software" (human interaction, planning, etc). Anyway, it's only one of several ways to look at elements covered by an operations strategy.
