Yes it does work that way. I've rushed and gotten impatient before doing them last minute lol smh at me. These are well worth it. Found them at Wal-Mart and Dollar. Walmart carries more of a variety of lengths and styles here in OC, Cali..just an fyi. My fav always runs out and i have a hard time getting the longer lengths..usually a week or 2 wait. So I get at least 3 pks in case a nail breaks, etc.
I have been wearing these for over 6 years. Love them... saves on my budget to spend on other things. Also as a busy Mompreneur it saves me time in my schedule. 15 minutes and done!!! I am wearing the rose stiletto style right now! I use olive oil to moisten my cuticles so when I add the nail it fits slightly under my cuticle which makes them look more natural. Our method is pretty much exactly the same!
I don't like press on nails or fake nails. I have never worn them. Seeing your tutorial has changed my mind about them. I love that color. Thanks for giving me a different view and on how to put them on.
This video is Spot On! I did my nails along with the video and it was perfect. People complaining about the time aren’t realizing how important the prep steps are. Love these nails and would have Never tried them if it wasn’t for Kristi 💜
I've been using these- same brand and everything- for over 25 years. You're right- they have come a long way....I used to have to paint them myself. Now they come pre- polished and designed- but I have ALWAYS gotten tons of compliments on them. I did get a few new ideas from this video though. Thumbs up!

I just bought some yesterday and I’m blown away!!! They look amazing and they have little jewels and crystals on them. You cannot tell that they are not professionally done 😍 they also are on really strong and don’t seem like they will come off. I put a lot of glue
Kristi, You use the exact product and process with the Kiss nails that I do! I do not like my nails, they make my hands look like I am a farmer. These nail are affordable, I can do them myself, and they are extremely durable, all things considered.......in the end they look like they were professionally done!! Yes love love the Kiss brand. They look natural. People often mistake them for acrylics. They do carry the french tip acrylics ones in medium. They are really nice on.
Definitely, use rubbing alcohol for prepping your nails, germx has vitamin E, plus your fingers will have some oils too, so that is counterproductive. Best to use rubbing alcohol and try not to touch your nails after you have used a cotton pad with alcohol so that they are oil free :) Love the color of the nails. Tfs - xoxo Emmie
Around the time I discovered your channel, I started getting acrylics again. You totally got me on board with these! So much cheaper. I get compliments all the time. I do them almost exactly the way you do them. 💕
These are my favorite nails! I used to do my own sculpted hard gels but got bored and it took so long. I started using kiss nails and get so many compliments! I love the burgundy long coffins too!

I used press on nails when I was in middle school lol I just threw them on with no prep. 😅 Since then I have always gone to the nail salon and would spend $100 and depending on the design well over that amount. I walked into an urban boutique store yesterday and there they were. The first thing that caught my eye. The designs they have now are stunning and now that I know better as far as application I will never spend that much on my nails again 😁
This video could not have come at a better time for me because I'm just starting to get into press on nails! Can you type when they are this long? I was having issues but didn't trim mine down.
Do your nails ever loosen up to soon after washing your hands or showering? I find that mine does a lot. I try to make them last for about a week and a half but after about 3/4 days they tend to loosen up or pop off especially in the shower.
Try doing them at night to avoid water.. you should wait atleast 4 hours before using water after getting them done so the glue can set properly.. but also u might be using very little glue and get alot of bubbles and when you use water the bubbles get filled and create a bigger gap.
Dominique, I have worn these nail for ten years, and I have experienced them occasionally popping off. I carry a tube of the pink and white glue in my handbag so if one comes off while I'm out I can stop and reattach immediately. It works for me. Bev Ashby
I have a tip for you and others. This is what I do and my nails last 2 weeks. Get some brush on glue (not the quick dry type), and regular acrylic powder. Brush on nail glue first, dip nail in acrylic powder and dry 10 seconds, then apply another layer of glue and apply nail as she does in the video. They Last a minimum 2 weeks 😎
When I first ordered my very first set of press ons, I watched several video tutorial and this was the one I followed and the results were amazing. That was years ago and I still follow the same method. Plus the method that was mentioned in one of the comments going pinky to pinky and so on. All in all thanks for making it a wonderful experience for me. ❤
I started using these nails and OMG I love them!!! I just filed the glue under the nail and save them and now I have lots of different types and colors lol there's alot of styles and colors in Amazon even with stones under $15
I've always had extremely short nails my entire life, and I just applied my first ever set of fake nails (at 25! I catch on slow) now to relearn how to do EVERYTHING with nails hahaha.
I love Kiss nails! I've been using them for several years. I use brush-on nail glue that I get at Sally Beauty. For me it's easier to control the application and I don't get glue everywhere or accidentally glue my nails together. I've gotten into the glue-free press-on ones from ImPress and Dashing Diva too to occasionally give my nails a break from the glue. I'm wearing the Dashing Diva ones in Northern Lights right now.
It's 2am and I just finished my first ever press on nails by your tutorial, thank you for this video, one of insecurities has always been my nails, they fragile and always break plus sometimes I bite them and they always ugly, that is what made them my insecurity but now I have gorgeous nails 💅 💖! THANK YOU FOR THIS
Honestly, this works incredibly. I was kinda iffy because my stick on nails always popped off within a day or two but I’ve had these bad boys on for 5 days now and they don’t feel loose even a little. Yay for nice looking cheaper nails and not having to go into a salon and pay way too much😄♥️♥️ thank you so much for this vid, helped me a ton!!♥️♥️♥️
The press on fake nails we have in Australia are so bad and these look so nice, I’m quite jealous. The ones we have here are made of what feels like packaging plastic lmao. These look stunning!
I love press ons! I’m able I keep them on about two weeks and them change to another cute set. KISS is great. I’ve saved a lot of money over salon nails...and my friends are amazed that they are press ons! Get them!
Right! That is awesome, love it! Everyone always asks where I get them done and I say press-ons and they are shocked. Especially KISS.. they have so many new amazing styles ❤️❤️
Great tutorial, I have never tried press on nails before, but I am really getting tired of chipping nail polish. I think Im gonna give it a go, as soon as I find a cute set. Thank you!
I tried those before but it jacked up my nails because they wouldn’t stay on. Yesterday I went to the salon and got them done there. Hard to explain but I had acrylics on my tips with nail glue then cut and filed down to make it smooth. Before all that my nail beds were filed down with the tool (I’m no genius with anything so bare with me here) and I got my fingers dipped into the powder a few times. I have gotta say my nails aren’t bad at all. I got coffin shaped and a white peachy color. If your broke like me and can’t always afford the salon press on isn’t awful it’s just hard finding the right shape and size you want. They also come off very easily and the glue can get on your fingers and it just hurts! Very nice choice in color tho u, I gotta hand that to you.
After watching this video, & doing everything she said to do when ur using fake glue on nails, I just wanted to say not only thanking her for doing this tutorial, but also to say if ur thinking about using fake nails make sure u do everything she does in the above video. It TOTALLY works! Since this pandemic, I don't feel comfortable going to get my nails done professionally, so I've been using fake nails, for many months now. & NOT EVER has 1 came off, & plus I'm not even careful about doing things cuz I'm afraid 1 might come off, they're glued on strong & tight. & it lasts for weeks, I change mine out constantly, (cuz I'm bored, & want a different look) but the longest I went without changing them was 10-15 days, give or take a day or 2. Alot of people have trouble putting them on perfectly straight, I kinda did too at 1st, but after u do them a handful bunch of times, ur hands get more steady with each time u change them out. Wish I could upload example pics to show every 1 my results. I take pics after every change out design/nail shape. So thanks again uploader, & goodluck to every 1, & stay safe.
They have ones at my Walgreens from Salon i believe and they have all sorts of different beautiful ones. I wear press on nails as well because I am a nail bitter and I am trying to grow them out. Love the different ones you had. Thanks for making a video on this. That was cute your Mom put some of those nails in a makeup bag for you!
Ty for sharing..I actually learned something about applying , trimming and glue usage.Yes absolutely love the kiss nails, I use the medium and long french tips so easy and they do last me a least a week or almost 2. Love that burgundy color that's the next one I'll try for the holidays. Less expensive than acrylics and these do not damage your nails from all that drilling.
Thank you for explaining everything so simply and fast!! The other videos I was watching over nails were just going on about their channel and not actually explaining or they didn’t know what they were doing and etc 🙄🤦🏽♀️ so again ty 🤍
I love this brand. I also use the blingy ones when I'm traveling and I get so many compliments from people asking me where I get my nails done and how nice they are. I use the french manicure ones on my feet in the summer and same thing.
I just bought these exact nails to try for a wedding, same color and everything, so I was super excited to find a tutorial for the exact product I have! I haven't ever tried glue on nails so I'm very thankful for this tutorial to help me with the process! By the way, your laugh is very cute, you were very pleasant to listen to!
I love a good manicure but so tired of paying $60 - $70 every two weeks for nails that don’t even look that great sometimes. I’ve purchased those Impress nails in the past and although they’re easy to apply and have fun designs I really want to try the glue on nails cause yours look so professional. I’m going to buy some today and give it a go. This could be a game changer. ❤️
I had the shorts on for two weeks and then they started to pop off. I recommend file nails first then wash them after clean nails with alcohol then apply nails. Shouldnt use hand sanitizer with moistorizer, moistorizers have oils and makes glue adhesion not too efective. Well, this is what works for me 😊. And I love this color nails....
ahhh I remember using the cheap press on nails as a child-the ones that come in the funkiest colors....I'm an adult now so I'm very excited to try these out :)
Very nice review I was into my nails very heavy,But now I can't do them I just lost my son these month and I just can't focus on them,I use liquid and moner to apply my nails and I messed up my nail bend by talking them off too much with acetone to remove them and now they are healed,I am diabetic so that was not good too do I know. Now that I watched your review it's talking me back when I was enjoying my nails so much. And I do video's on my channel but not lately I will subscribe to your channel because I love them too.xoxolynette3232
Ms. Longmire, I'm very sorry to read about your loss and sending love and light to you for strength and healing. Surprisingly, when you feel bad, it's easy to let yourself look bad, but keep up with your beauty routines and it will help.
Love this! I did mine and so many ppl have complimented me..the whole time I'm thinking if they only knew..lol they were glued on!! I hv little nail beds and hands which I have no idea why lol bc I am a plus size woman but whatever I will take my little hands! 💅
1. You are the cutest! Love your laugh. 2. This was such a great and informative video!!! I am on a budget and trying to keep myself cute with these nails is a must. So thank you thank you thank you! This is also great because I also have really short and flat nailbeds and my fake nails pop off all the time so I can’t wait to use these tips and tricks!
Your hands are really cute and this tutorial helped a lot. I'll update this comment when I stuck on my nails and also when they come off and how I'm doing 😊 So, my nails stayed in for only about 4 days and the glue won't come off. DON'T RECOMMEND. GO GET UR NAILS DONE PROFESSIONALLY
I'm new to your channel, I got a set and was looking for a video to actually see the best way to start and I followed every step. Thank you ! Ps. Your voice is soothing and I loved your laughter !
This was super informative! I've always wondered how people KEEP them on?? How often do they pop off?? I heard you say you keep glue everywhere I guess to just pop em right back on?! But do they have a tendency to just come off super easy after the 1st time they come off??! I may have to try them? Idk I'm one of those people whose actually blessed with really nice real nails! Just keeping them painted is a joke! And I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to nail polish?🤷 If I do have it, it MUST be perfect at all times! So it's pretty much all or nothing! Anyway how long do they normally last you??! Thanks again and LOVE
Wow I relate to this comment so much. It's crazy because i hate painting my nails and they grow out pretty long so its hard to try and not do something to them, but im just so bothered by one small mistake.
@@poolnoodle2110 RIGHT! Me too! Like if one chips or is smudged or even if the paint doesn't go down to the skin all the way??! I have to fix it! And then just everyday dishes, cleaning pulling zippers up and chipping one, whatever the case may be I ALWAYS find a way to fluff it up!🤦🏽🤷🏽 So glad to know I'm not alone! I was beginning to think I have some sort of OCD weirdness or something? Thanks for your response! Blessings and LOVE
I started using Bondini glue and my nails have been on for 4 days with none popping off! I also avoid getting my nails wet for 4 hours after I applied them, so I usually do my nails before bed. And I try to use gloves when washing dishes or other chores where my hands get wet.
Love that pretty red! Now I wanna go get some and try all your awesome tips and all the cool stuff the people in comments have suggested too. Great video! 💅💜
i never tried fake nails but i got convinced when i went to do them at a salon. I love them now but super expensive for a couple of weeks only. So looking at fake press ons instead. Thanks for the tutorial ♡
You must put a clear coat on top to give them a good shine and to protect the color. They get the job done for a special occasion or night out. I am a full time teacher and put them on for the work week on Monday mornings and take them off Friday afternoons with some retouched ones so I can clean on the weekend. To me, they are not the most high-quality, but they are better than nothing! You can get the long ones at the 99 cent store, ma and pop stores, wig stores in wholesale. Does the trick for me in my busy lifestyle, does not damage your natural nails, takes minutes, and is CHEAP!
i gave it a thumds up bcs i love nails like acrilyc press on and like all of those nails and i am a huge fan kristi kelum and i hope you apriceate that right
You shouldn't be self conscious about your hands because everybody has flaws! I actually understand you because when I apply fake nails on.. I always feel self-conscious of what people are going to say about my hands but just know that you are beautiful! And you shouldn't care about people's opinions Love Yourself by Who You Are! PS This is my first time watching you! ..so hi ! ♡♡♡♡
Just did my first set of this exact brand - from Walmart. The Christmas special designs. Love them! Thanks for this informative video and - you have the most adorable laugh! 😄
I sure feel dumb having spent SO much money on acrylic nails! 💅 This is so amazing, they look so natural and more than anything else MUCH CHEAPER!! I had no idea press on nails could last long too! 😳 Thank you so much for the tip and the so well explained video. 🙆 Today I say good by to acrylic nails and spending 45dlls every time I put a new set or do fills 😝 Thank you!! 😍❤👍
Yesss I need this because I feel like when my hair is on fleek my nails gotta be too...but I also do box braids and I can't do them with nails and that makes me kinda sad...but lol I forgot they have press ons..now whenever I have a client pop them right off yassss
Try going from pinky to pinky, ring to ring, middle to middle, index to index and then thumbs last. I promise it will make such a difference. Since we're Gripping on to them, placing them and using the glue with thumbs and index fingers, its just way easier to do index and thumbs lastly. (I've done these for 30+ years lol)

K Kolektion they don’t pop off easily, but they last only a week!
Girl Dollar tree has them too! $1 per set
I have heard that so much now! Definitely need to go ❤️❤️
Cindy Waller yeah but those dollar ones usually are to small so the 5_8 dollar ones fit much better and comes with the glue and nail filler
😱😱😱 whaaaat?!!

You should double the adhesive by using the plastic stuff it comes with. that plus the nail glues keeps my nails on for over 2 weeks!
Stephezy so u just double the amount of adhesive???
Mikayla M I think she’s saying for double the staying power, use the adhesive tabs in addition to using the glue

Love it! I’m going to get me some! I’ll have to stick to the shorts bc I type all day:/ thanks for showing us💚
Sameeee lol thank you Brandi!! ❤️❤️
I love these nails.Kiss has a variety of all kind.Been using these for 10+ years
GOOD JOB GIRL..HAHA I HAVE ALL OF THESE KITS,GOOD TASTE.
Thank you Jamie! She is the cutest.. gotta love mom packages! ❤️❤️
Very detailed and excellent video. You deserve the millions of views.
Aw well thank you so much Ardel! ❤️❤️
@@KristiKellum you are so welcome. Have a blessed Christmas and a Prosperous 2019 for you and your loved ones. And ty again.
I came cross your tutorial looking for some advice,I loved your video. But your laugh it’s contagious it’s made me smile 😊 thank you for that
I think you have lovely fingers & thanks for this :) BTW, you have the best laugh!
hiko73, I thought the same thing about her laugh!!
Aw well thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
Y'all are so sweet, thank you!! ❤️❤️
I loved her laugh too!!
Right.. so good! ❤️❤️
Oh wow.. Haven't tried those yet. I love blingy ones.😱👏👏👏😀
Aw yay!! Thank you so much Julia, so sweet ❤️❤️
oh where do you buy them from
Diana Bui I bought mine from wal-mart!
So gorgeous! The color is just perfect for the fall season! I absolutely love this~♥
I love a good manicure but so tired of paying $60 - $70 every two weeks for nails that don’t even look that great sometimes. I’ve purchased those Impress nails in the past and although they’re easy to apply and have fun designs I really want to try the glue on nails cause yours look so professional. I’m going to buy some today and give it a go. This could be a game changer. ❤️
I have never had long nails ( cuz im 10) and my mom said i can have long nails thus holiday so i am really excited:-) :-) :-) :-)
Helpful video for someone who has never used press on nails.. also your laugh is so cute haha omg
This really helped thank you I just got my package from kiss for the nails and I was confused and you helped thanks
I just got my first set of press on and your video helped so much 😁😁😁😁
I had the shorts on for two weeks and then they started to pop off. I recommend file nails first then wash them after clean nails with alcohol then apply nails. Shouldnt use hand sanitizer with moistorizer, moistorizers have oils and makes glue adhesion not too efective. Well, this is what works for me 😊. And I love this color nails....
Thank you so much! Yes.. definitely learned no to use the sanitizer after this video lol ❤️❤️
ahhh I remember using the cheap press on nails as a child-the ones that come in the funkiest colors....I'm an adult now so I'm very excited to try these out :)
Oh wow.. I am so sorry! Love and prayers for you ❤️❤️
Thank you so much,Kristi I want to get back to my nails I just can't get back now.Loved your review.xoxolynette3232
Ms. Longmire, I'm very sorry to read about your loss and sending love and light to you for strength and healing. Surprisingly, when you feel bad, it's easy to let yourself look bad, but keep up with your beauty routines and it will help.
Thank you so much for the encouraging words.xoxolynette3232
lynette longmire sending love and prayers to you 💖💖💖
Your laugh is the best. It made me want to laugh every time I heard it. Going to try these nails out soon!!
Love this! I did mine and so many ppl have complimented me..the whole time I'm thinking if they only knew..lol they were glued on!! I hv little nail beds and hands which I have no idea why lol bc I am a plus size woman but whatever I will take my little hands! 💅
Right, love that!! They look so good ❤️❤️
This nails really look beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Family dollar sales them as well !No one going in nail salons these days ! Can’t wait to put them on ❤️
Your hands are really cute and this tutorial helped a lot. I'll update this comment when I stuck on my nails and also when they come off and how I'm doing 😊
So, my nails stayed in for only about 4 days and the glue won't come off. DON'T RECOMMEND. GO GET UR NAILS DONE PROFESSIONALLY
I literary freaking LOVE these nails SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!
Could you do 1 on how u remove them in a proper way. I always ruin my nails tryin to gt em off 😓
Yes definitely! ❤️❤️
I'm new to your channel, I got a set and was looking for a video to actually see the best way to start and I followed every step. Thank you !
Ps. Your voice is soothing and I loved your laughter !
Perfect, in depth review!! Thank you so much girl! 😊 do you know if they have almond shaped nails too, or would you just shape them yourself?
Aw thank you so much! Oh yes.. they have so many shapes and designs now. From almond, square, stiletto and coffin.. so good ❤️❤️
The long maroon are my favorite too They were my first nails and i was in LOVE with them
I remember doing this as a kid, now I'm a adult trying to save money and actually want them to look good lol
I got some from Family Dollar today. Haven't worn nails in years. Can't wait to try them out.
Just want to say don't be insecure about your hands. Can't see wrinkles, blemishes, spots, or scars. No worries!
Aww, your mum's gift! So sweet 💅
They last about a wee and a half to two weeks depending on life lol but if one does pop off I just glue it back on and it looks perfect again ❤️❤️
@@KeilaET hi Keila 😁 4 weeks is amazing! Where do you find that particular brand of glue?
out of topic but your little giggles to yourself is rly cute! LOL
Aw thank you so much! ❤️❤️
they look so good!!!!
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Judi珠珠 yesss
Love that pretty red! Now I wanna go get some and try all your awesome tips and all the cool stuff the people in comments have suggested too. Great video! 💅💜
These look so cute girl I love burgundy coffin nails😍
Thank you Jennifer!! They are my fav ❤️❤️
love the look, hate the name lol
i never tried fake nails but i got convinced when i went to do them at a salon. I love them now but super expensive for a couple of weeks only. So looking at fake press ons instead. Thanks for the tutorial ♡
Have you tried the Ulta Beauty design and shine nails? They are $8 and super pretty, but I wonder what quality they are!?
I haven't.. I didn't even know they had nails! I will have to check them out ♥️♥️
You must put a clear coat on top to give them a good shine and to protect the color. Does the trick for me in my busy lifestyle, does not damage your natural nails, takes minutes, and is CHEAP!
i gave it a thumds up bcs i love nails like acrilyc press on and like all of those nails and i am a huge fan kristi kelum and i hope you apriceate that right
Beautiful color!! I love them!! ❤❤❤
Idk about ya'll but when I do press on's.. ya girl uses super glue
How long does it keep them on?
Or crazy glue, that'll make them last longer, or sometimes I'll buy the glue from the nail salon. It actually lasts longer than a week 🤔
Crazy glue comes off as safely as nail glue?
SAME
Soak them in nail polish remover.
Thank you for this clear to the point tutorial. This will mice in so handy to me as I am new to the press on nails!!!! I subscribed!
Great video 👍🏼 I just started a new job where im not able to have nails 😩 So i want to try press ons 🥰
Thank you Jessica! Aw.. that is such a bummer. They are so good though ❤️❤️
I love that! Aw thank you ♥️♥️
