Hi nice video, and congrats on getting this boat to do 65mph! Did you make any strut angle or height adjustments different than the way that it came stock out of the box? If so can you please share what you did strut adjustment wise. Did you make any adjustments to the trim tabs from the way that it came stock out of the box?
@@MrMad2424 can you please retype what you did with the strut height and strut angle and the trim tabs as it looks like what you typed got messed up. Thx
Hey. I'm new to boats. Just ordered this and i inquired on that prop. Don't know much abt trimming and stuff. Did u hv to do a lot of trimming or are ur trim tabs at the same stock position? I guess im asking is this 65 just with the prop change and no adjustments? Lmk
Yes, I had to trim down the trim tabs a couple mm. Every prop I tried needed to be fine tuned with the tabs too though. Have fun with it and you'll enjoy learning how to set up a boat its not hard at all.
You can slightly move it up and down within the cushion of the grommet but not much. If you need a lot of movement for your setup then you may need to bend the stuffing tube and reinstall it. I would imagine you would be fine for just adding positive or negative angle to it which can be done pretty easily.
Is the SS48 a 3-blade prop? Looking good man, always love seeing what you guys can get out of these things. Any future plans to upgrade the esc for 70+?
