I didn't understand what happened. It's a 2 stroke and first 10 hours should be run 30:1 ratio oil to fuel mix. Smoke is normal if you actually put any 2 stroke oil into the fuel. It it's just died. First thing to check on these are the spark. Usually CDI is the culprit
Yeah I have been on 25 to one ratio. I’ve done some more research and now think the problem maybe water in the combustion chamber. So I have a new head gasket on its way so this will be the next part I troubleshoot as it makes sense with steam coming from the exhaust. I will video it and try to do a better job. Thanks for your help knowing me I will see every part of the inside of this engine
Just watched again. Your cdi spark all fine. Issue is fuelling and runs out fuel due to the carb and more than likely it's the float is sticking or pump failed. When it dies like that, remove spark plug and look to see if any water inside. Might be cracked head ?
Is yours 8 hours break in and if so the first 10 mins of break in do you put it in gear or do this one the second part at 25%trot ? Just got one and finding it hard to understand thanks
Morning I am now breaking in another engine. I did the first 20 minutes at idle then 3 hrs at 25 in a bucket in my garden. Now I will run it at 50 percent for 3 hrs and 80 for a further 2 on the river. Just to be safe
I will now also check the cdi thanks again
One other thing could be the E10 ethanol destroyed the fuel pump membrane and reed valves inside the pump.
They all seem good I am using premium fuel so hopefully this right . My next video is up I would appreciate all the help I can get thank you

How's your Hangkai now? 2 months on, did you discover the problem and is everything now ok?
