Tip 12 is really important. I notice that when I get frustrated after losing a match or two because I focus too much on my rank, I just play really bad and it gets worse with every match. And if that happens, I just try not to pay attention to the ranking anymore and suddenly I’m good again.
Another tip for volleyball If someone is spiking from the middle and you are blocking, keep in mind where your teammate is. if your teammate is on the right side of the court, you might want readjust and go closer to the left and vice-versa. This'll raise the chance of keeping the volley going or maybe even scoring your team a point.
@@tinwhistlenoob5219low-key it’s the worst when the spiker is on the left side and the blocker goes to the right since by default most receivers will go to the side where the spiker has a wider area to spike the ball since a blocker cannot fully cover the wide so the receiver is stuck on the thinner area of options or just doesn’t get there in time if you are blocking you always want to cover the thinner area of options for the spikes not the wider since it will never work out as well if you cover the side were the spiker has a wider range to choose from it will me easier to get a block out or even avoid the block and score
I just bought NSP yesterday and I am having so much fun. Badminton and Tennis are definitely my favorite just because it makes me feel like a kid again playing on the wii. I hope they add basketball to the game later on and I’ll be so happy.
Some other tips for Tennis 1. when on the right side of the court and the ball is going to your right, generally hit cross court. -If the net man is crosscourt, a shot down the center will set u up for a later chance to win the point, but hit down the line(which basically means the right side in this case) if you see the back person out of placement. 2. when on the right side of the court and the ball is going to your left aim down the line -if the net man is in front of you, you could attempt a lob (which is also an option in the first step). You can also try to hit a ball cross court with a lot of spin (so it will most likely go in and create a tough angle) or a more relaxed cross court shot near the middle 3. for the left side of the court reverse it for the different sides: 1 is your forehand on right side of court but backhand on your left side, 2 is your backhand on the right side of the court but forehand on your left side. --lol sorry for so much info, its just really exciting to see the possibilities opened for tennis in this game. I could give more stuff with being at the net but this is already a lot, so let me know if you want more. --also a lob is when you hit a high ball that lands deep in the court
you can use the normal sword to poke your opponent, is like a small charged attack but you don't need to charge. still I don't think that's useful since the charge time for the other two swords is quite short.
It feels like when you curve the ball it is going 2x as fast as when you just bowl straight. I mean watch the pins fall when you curve it vs rolling straight, there is a clear distinction. Hopefully I see you in game some time!
Im gonna explain some chamber matchups. if your on sword against charge make sure to play passive because they need to strike first since if they guard they gain charge. for twin swords the other player won't be able to focus on both there swords at the same time efficiently, so doing combos can make them panic, and If you get stunned there no big deal. If your on charge sword going against sword find openings and if your almost full charge and have the balls hold guard in one direction till they strike to charge it, and then have them get stunned by follow up, or work it out and find a option to use your charge, this is VERY risky but can save you if your close to falling, and make sure not to hold your charge till there close if your literally losing. If your going against twin swords you have to play offensive but make sure not to do any follow ups when you hit, because purely at its core its not safe since twin charge on there own so you have to be aggressive, and since they have 2 swords they can switch there sword guarding from sword to sword if there good at timing. Finally if your on twin swords against either, charge up, but switch up when your gonna use your charge and getting a stun is most safe. Learn when your charge kills, so you can save it if your going on offense Overall Normal sword is the best in the game, and it comes down to the fact of how easily countered both twin and charge can be (If your good ofc) If you master guarding and your on sword, you can make your opponent attack you if there on charge, and you can easily contest twins because of the bad knockback. If you read the whole thing respond for fun

But i have some other tips. Defend pays off: When you defend, you have a higher chance of not letting in ez goals, and you can get free stamina if you stay for a while, and when someone else is defending, go. So now you have tons of stamina, and you can possibly get goals because of it. Highs and lows: Yes that will happen, some matches are like "YEAH WERE GOING UP! WOOO!" and unfortunately you will get a lot of "NO HOW DID WE LOSE! COME ON!" And thats fine. just makke sure to play a different non ranked game mode or just go off for a while. You're probably trying to hit the shuttlecock on badminton before your avatar gets close to it. It usually happens when your opponent throws the shuttlecock close to the net using ZR, and you are far from it. You need to wait for your avatar to run closer to the shuttlecock. But sometimes there is no escape... I don't think this happens very often in tennis, only when you try to defend a ball that falls far from your avatar, so it jumps and fall, but usually, there is time to recover in tennis.
