Hi, when you create a new wallet, it creates exactly one backup, which cannot be changed. If you want a different backup you will need to create a new wallet. If you have already set up your Trezor and have an existing wallet you will need to wipe the device following this process: trezor.io/learn/a/how-to-wipe-your-trezor-safe-3 Once you've wiped it, it will basically appear as a new device and you can go through the setup process again and get a new backup. Please note that if you choose to wipe your device it will also erase the wallet from it, so if you have any funds there make sure that you either send them out of that wallet or that you have the correct wallet backup of that wallet so that you can restore access to your funds. What about using the Sd card feature? The Trezor website says I need to use python to enable to function but I am not a programmer? Cant you just incorporate it into the Trezor suite? Please help! I have just received my two trezor 3. I am following instructions but firware will not fully load. @@smackatoo after research, it doesn't matter, but you can go offline after setup the seed (the backup), you don't need internet connection after that. I just suggest do everything related with trezor in safe computer without malware.

What's this about it generating a new address everytime? That makes zero sense. I want the address of my wallet to be the target because I want to know that the funds are going to the right place.
It's a privacy feature. Trezor Suite generates fresh addresses for each (receiving) transaction, although for Ethereum you'll need to add another ETH account. By generating a fresh address each time, you reduce the chance of exposing any sensitive personal information. The old address remains active, though and you can keep using it!

It means that although it is better for your privacy to use a fresh address for each transaction, you can still use your previously generated addresses too.
@@hiro11 This isn't specific to Trezor, it is a general fact about Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies: address re-use creates security risks for technical reasons. From your seed phrase, a sequence of addresses is derived, each of which is under your control. Once an address has received funds, it is unwise to re-use it for receiving more funds. The addresses are still capable of receiving more funds, but doing this results in various security issues.

Hi, there is no need to turn off your Wifi. The private keys generated on Trezor stay offline anyway. Regarding the connection, you don't need to be concerned about the cable. You can use Trezor with any compatible cable you have.

Hi! In the Buy feature you can choose from different services, as each exchange service has different offers. And as for the PIN, if your device was wiped (either you wiped it manually or it lost connection during a firmware updates, thus it wiped itself automatically for security reasons), the PIN settings were reset too. However, the whole seed was wiped from the device, so not having the PIN set does not put your coins at risk, as first you need to import your seed to the device (recover your wallet), during which you also set a new PIN.

What about using the Sd card feature? The Trezor website says I need to use python to enable to function but I am not a programmer? Cant you just incorporate it into the Trezor suite? This feature is not very user friendly and is the reason I bought a Trezor. I will attempt it but I dont understand why this is not just a option on Trezor suite??? Do you not want maximum security for users? Are you worried users will make a mistake with SD cards and blame Trezor???
Could you please make a youtube guide on installing python, installing trezorctl, operating commands and finally enabling Sd card protection.

Hi, at the moment, Trezor cannot be connected to iOS devices due to Apple's MFi program's strict terms and conditions that are not acceptable to us. For the upcoming model, we're looking into the possibility of making it happen.

@@smackatoo after research, it doesn't matter, but you can go offline after setup the seed (the backup), you don't need internet connection after that. I just suggest do everything related with trezor in safe computer without malware.

Hi, yes you can choose between 12, 24 or 20 words of backup when you set up your Trezor. However, we recommend the 20 words option as you can upgrade it later to a multi-share backup!

If the device does not accept the PIN it would indicate that you're entering an incorrect PIN. For security reasons, the PIN won't be displayed on the device, so you need to enter it one digit at a time!

Hi, Trezor as a company does not know your wallet backup words not we have access to it. It's 100% under your control. Our software and hardware is completely open source. It means anyone can check it. So there is no room for backdoor as some security researcher would find it if it was there!
Are you planning to add BSC to Trezor Suit? Using Metamask to do it it’s kind of defeating the purpose of using a Trezor.. i said kind of, still safer than just using Metamask

What's this about it generating a new address everytime? That makes zero sense. I want the address of my wallet to be the target because I want to know that the funds are going to the right place.
It's a privacy feature. Trezor Suite generates fresh addresses for each (receiving) transaction, although for Ethereum you'll need to add another ETH account. By generating a fresh address each time, you reduce the chance of exposing any sensitive personal information.
The old address remains active, though and you can keep using it!

I hope to not come off as rude but this seems overly complicated and confusing, I was looking into buying on but Id prefer to always have the same address lol
It means that although it is better for your privacy to use a fresh address for each transaction, you can still use your previously generated addresses too.
@@hiro11 This isn't specific to Trezor, it is a general fact about Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies: address re-use creates security risks for technical reasons. From your seed phrase, a sequence of addresses is derived, each of which is under your control. Once an address has received funds, it is unwise to re-use it for receiving more funds. The addresses are still capable of receiving more funds, but doing this results in various security issues.

Hi, there is no need to turn off your Wifi. The private keys generated on Trezor stay offline anyway.
Regarding the connection, you don't need to be concerned about the cable. You can use Trezor with any compatible cable you have.

Hi! In the Buy feature you can choose from different services, as each exchange service has different offers. And as for the PIN, if your device was wiped (either you wiped it manually or it lost connection during a firmware updates, thus it wiped itself automatically for security reasons), the PIN settings were reset too. However, the whole seed was wiped from the device, so not having the PIN set does not put your coins at risk, as first you need to import your seed to the device (recover your wallet), during which you also set a new PIN.
