Do you know when a new discount code will become available? I was about to buy one, but will wait for a discount code.
@@zippydoesit7690 according to Trezor they are canceling ALL discount codes until further notice.
Sad
It has been nearly a year now, any chance they brought back discount codes and affiliate links?
They never got rid of affiliate links. Only discounts. And no, they refuse to offer any sort of discount or freebies.
just saw that Ledger has an entire tracking software in Live that gets really detailed.
deff going to buy a Trezor 3 in the near future because between the new Ledger news leak today and the old hacks they had its clear they only care about $$
Bro $79, that is very inexpensive.
I paid Way Over A hundred+ In 2019 Ledger Nano x.
Thank you for your videos I greatly appreciate them.
Right? Super affordable! Thanks for watching!
Nice to finally see someone showing how to enter the passphrase through this device! thanks!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching Jason
That feature's default value should be OFF!!
What do you mean
I think it is about passphrase. lot of user get confused (passphrase, pin, password, seed phrase...) and forget the passphrase and loose fund...
How can one add other coins other than the ones that r per default activated?
Nice overview. I've been using Ledger for several years since the Nano S and decided to give the Safe3 a go just now. I remember some reviews being critical of Trezor in earlier models several years ago, but I think the reviews of recent speak for themselves. I got lucky and got my hands on a Bitcoin only Safe3 and a regular Safe3, so I'll put them through there paces shortly.
Nice! I’m new to Trezor myself but the Safe 3 is really top notch. Let me know how you like them if you remember :)
Just now I bought with your code. Hope they will deliver quickly in Pakistan.
Thank you! I’m sure it will. Just be patient as this is one of the busiest times of the years for mailing services :)

I own several wallets.
The first 2 model trezors, two ellipal titans, one ellipal titan mini, a keepkey, a ledger nano s, a ledger nano x, and i preordered the stax which is what I am mostly excited about. however now I want to get this new one.... lol
Same. The safe 3 is great, so is Tangem if you haven’t tried that one yet.
Hmmm. This seems to be the ultimate hardware wallet of all wallets. This seems to have the highest security level of all, if used correctly that is. ❤👍
It’s a great wallet 👍
Disagree , still a wire plugged between device that you can not see what it is transferred. Keystone is full airgapped with clear text QRcode you can decode yourself and check what is it in it.
@@jp62200 you ignore the fact Trezor is 100% open-source. So every singly bit going between the trezor is already known 100% and you always have to physically confirm communication on the device. Your suggestion is absolutely horrendous but you are free to choose whatever you want for your own life. 😎👍 trezor is the only one supporting TOR out of the box including full support for monero which will save your life in certain countries.
If you set up your wallet with no pass phrase are you able to change it and add a pass phrase later ?
Yep. You can add as many passphrases as you want at anytime. There’s no limit.
Everytime you connect your wallet, you have the option to access/create a passphrase
But remember, if you forget you passphrase and put crypto on that hidden wallet, you’d lose your crypto.
So keep it safe, just like you do your seed phrase.
... and it still doesn't work with phones or tablets, meaning you have to have your own full size computer to access your funds. sigh
Not entirely true. It works with Android devices, not iOS.
Stupid Newbie Question:
How do you get your coins into the Trezor...do you have to connect to the exchange where they are located or ?? - how does that work? Maybe good video topic for newbies like me 🙂
thanks for the video and info - great stuff!
You simply send it to your wallet’s public address. It’s easy.
I have a couple videos on this topic. Check out this one. Let me know if it helps:

Does Trezor safe 3 support USDT TRC20 ?
Want to buy it with your Discount Code but it doesnt work :( Want to Buy the Safe in Germany. Thank you!
Trezor has discontinued all discount codes.
I want to have a portfolio of over 30 different cryptos. Does this mean I need three different cold wallets eg. Trezor T, Ledger Stax and Trezor Safe 3? I was told that this is dangerous because I could confuse the seeds but I think this would give me more safety since a theif would not not know to which wallet goes what seed and I can organize which seed to which wallet or which crypto to which wallet by using an excel file (no seeds on it). The seeds I want to keep in three differrent kinds of metal seed storages to avoid mixing up. Is this a good strategy?
Seeds aren’t wallet specific. You can take seed phrase that you generate on Trezor and use it in Ledger for example.
That said, it’s not a bad idea to have at least a couple hardware wallets so that you have a backup.
Also, diversifying your funds across a couple different seed phrases is generally good practice.
I think you’ll want to watch my next video coming out. It’s about passphrases (such as the feature offered by the Safe 3).
Sounds like it’d work good for what you’re trying to achieve.

@@cyberscrilla Hi Alex, thank you, that is very nice of you to write to me. At first I wanted only the Trezor model T but I read that I can have only 10-14 wallets on it. Does that mean I can hold only 10-14 different types of crypto coins on it? Also I started feeling uncomfortable with the thought of having so many assets in only one place.
@@SuperSokol7 No you can store as many assets on a wallet as you want. The only reason you might need to use separate seed’s is for diversification.
@@cyberscrillaThat is amazing that over 30 different types of coins with large value can fit on only one wallet! Thus I might not need a third hard wallet (eg Ledger Stax). BTC on Trezor 3 for more safety, the Trezor T for others altcoins if I find touch screen more user friendly. The Ledger Stax looks cool but I heard Ledger is not open source and could have access to my seeds....
KP3 or TS3 if you could pick one?
TS3 is more user friendly so I’d choose it over the K3P for most of my crypto management.
BUT, the K3P still has more robust security options for more advanced users who desire that 👍
Can anyone tell me if they are already delivering if I buy directly on the Trezor website? And if so, how long does it take to deliver to a US address? I didn't see anything about delivery time on the website.
It appears they are delivering and caught up with orders. I’m in the US, took about 4 days for me
is this a review of the trezor safe 3 or your face?
Use your ears young grasshopper.
Great video. Why is the Trezor Model T $179? It's $100 more and I'm wondering what you get for that extra bill? I noted your affiliate link in the description, and will be ordering from you. I'm just stumped after this video if I should order the Trevor Safe 3 or Model T? Any perspective would be appreciated. I did some research and it holds many low cap coins I'm involved with.
The only main difference I know of is this:
- Trezor Model T is touchscreen with no secure element chip
- Trezor Safe 3 has buttons and a smaller screen, and has a secure element chip
I choose the Safe 3.
@@cyberscrilla okay thank you. Now I’m deciding between the Trezor and tangem. I’ll keep doing more research. Thanks for getting back.
@FreeCryptoClass let me know if you have any more questions. Happy to help.

Bought 2 today using your code. Was following the crypto market over the last 2 years and finally have the funds to start getting into it using DCA. Hope I am not too late to the party ^^
Wow! Thank you! You’re just in time actually
- Alex
Does it support solana now?
Yes it has for a while now 👍
It does support solana
Correct.
I can do the setup connected to internet or offline? it doesn't matter?
You have to connect it to your computer to set it up which is normal and completely safe
Do not buy this wallet! It is adapted for a limited number of coins, read the forum carefully before purchasing to avoid being deceived. Most popular coins are not supported, the manufacturer blatantly lies by referring to interaction with third-party wallets; if you want comfortable use, do not get involved with a raw, unfinished device.
Connecting hardware wallets to a third party software wallet is pretty standard.
Anyone who gets these devices. I beg you right now make sure you have some sort of note with your information to access this sort of device. I cannot physically stress that enough.
Yep, they don’t call it self custody for nothing.
@@cyberscrilla Well my family is going through an absolute ordeal. This is another nail in the coffin because my mother has something wrong with her which is worrying and has forgotten how to access this trezor thing. Me and my dad only found out about this today and there was a lot of money on this thing but now we have no way to access it and it's so stressful. I'm under 18 and looking after my mum and then there's this and I don't want this sort of thing to happen to anyone else.
I don't even know what to do since I know nothing about these devices and I'm out of my depth.
And if you create privates keys by shaking device . If you can re create private keys when reset .or device is not able to create new private keys .tks
Just be on the lookout for when I release the review for BCVAULT. It’ll be a while as it’s stuck at customs.

It works with Mac yes
I am trying to add XLM to my Trezor Model T Wallet. It is not on the coin list. Can you help?
Sure thing. Trezor doesn’t natively support XLM in the Trezor Suite app.
You must use a third party wallet and connect your Trezor wallet to it. For XLM, use Exodus.
Have tried ordering with 3 different credit cards & their system fails the payment every time. 1 of the cards is even a generic visa so it’s not my bank. I can’t be the only one, although I can’t seem to find reports on the issue. Do you have any insights or work around for using a credit card? I requested support & no one responds.
Hmm. Let me look into it for you.

Trezor is pretty solid
Trevor 3 need to add BNB Coins to the wallet. I've noticed Solana was recently added. I hold more BNB Coins.
Trezor does support BNB coins. Just connect it to a Bnb-compatible software wallet like MetaMask and you’re good to go.
Is it compatible with Apple’s IOS iPhones and MacBook Pros ?
You cant really use it with mobile devices.
It is compatible with iOS, Windows, and Linux devices. So yes for MacBook Pro
Can’t See erc-20 tokens on portfolio dashboard. That really sucks. This kind of issue is not advertised nor explained in advance. Pretty much regreted buying this.
Yes you can. Go to Ethereum, then tap tokens, should be listed there.
If they don’t appear you must add them. Click on the three dots and select 'Add token', then enter the contract address.
@@cyberscrilla yes, but it does´t show tokens on main dashboard. There are better options on the market.
Does it support xrp
Yes it does.
How can i store shiba on Trezor safe 3
It’s natively supported so you just need to add it in Trezor suite.
Here's how to add new tokens to Trezor:
1. Open Trezor Suite
2. Go to the Settings menu
Select the Coins tab
3. On the Dashboard, select Enable more coins
4. Toggle the tokens you want to enable
Hi Alex...it all sounds good with all the upgraded components and passphrase option. But it doesnt seem to be fully air gapped tho.
Nope. Not air gapped. Not a huge concern personally.
Air gapped simply “lowers” potential attack vectors. Doesn’t make it impossible to get hacked.
And if you have a secure element chip, you’re set.
@@cyberscrilla thank you for your reply. How about alt coins like matic or bnb...does the app Trezor suite supports it or do we have to use other wallets for these alts?
Help me decide between Keystone 3 pro and Trezor safe 3. I am gonna buy new one after 2017. I need for frequent use and also need 3rd party wallet supports like the Metamask and Rabby supported in Keystone
I have replied to your other comment already. Please look at that.
Both wallets are compatible with hot wallets including metamask.
@@cyberscrilla True, probably not on Android/iOS though, right?
@@cyberscrilla Thanks for the prompt response
if I set BTC only firmware and later go back to multiple coins firmware, that cause an issue, losing my BTC or something wrong?
Switching between different firmware versions, such as BTC-only and multiple coins firmware, does not inherently cause issues or result in loss of BTC. Trezor allows users to change firmware settings to accommodate their preferences or needs.
Now if you go from multi-coin to BTC only firmware, your crypto will remain safe, but you’ll only be able to manage BTC.
Another thing champ... Pls bc vault . I want to see what happens if company goes under and the restore device option
What do you mean?
@@cyberscrillaif Trezor goes under can I still use the seed words to resort everything to a different hardware wallet?
@KN-cool yes you can import your seed phrase into another wallet.
@@cyberscrilla thanks!

Nice wallet. Do you think they will add the secure eliminate chip to the Model T as well.
No, I don’t think so. Maybe they’ll create an entirely new wallet. But it won’t be the model T
Can’t connect to iPhone, unfortunately
Why not?
Does it support Polkadot?
I have the trezor 3 but why is it so small. I had to use a magnifier in order to set up device. Is there a larger model?
The Trezor model T is slightly larger.
@@cyberscrillais it the same as this model just bigger?
Hum.
?
I like the passcode idea but man that can take long to type on the device! What’s your recommendation here on the length and type of letters and #s to use?
I’m coming from ledger and looking to make the switch. I will miss the X being mobile.
Thanks for explaining the security upgrade. It does sound good. When you say protect against physical, you mean protect against physical extraction? Can you elaborate on that?
Man so weird they didn’t have the deal for the 3! What the!?
Thank you!
Make it as random as possible is my recommendation. Longer is obviously better, but the odds of someone or something guessing a completely random phrase is near impossible.
Use letters, numbers, and symbols for sure.
Exactly. A secure element is the same kind of chip used in electronic passports and banks cards. They prevent someone from extracting sensitive data from the device.
And I came from a Ledger Nano X myself (that was my first wallet). The safe 3 is a great alternative
- Alex
Thanks again! How would you compare this to the model T. is the model T worth the extra price?@@cyberscrilla
Just type the passprhase directly to the computer. Even if someone gets it, they still would need the 12 words in the correct order. Takes too long to type in the treze safe 3
Can you use blank spaces in between letters and numbers?@@cyberscrilla
Great video mate, explained well also for beginners like me. I had a question: Is it possible to have multiple cold storage wallets of different brands? I understand "the seed" is the important element, and if you lose your hardware wallet, you can buy a new one and get it running with "the seed" you had from the other wallet, am I right in understanding this? Also, can you access your cold storage wallet BTC with different wallets like Trezor or Ledger? Thanks.
Thank you! And yes you are correct.
same question here, how exactly it works? I mean if the seed can be entered on ANY Trezor wallet to restore it, means that it's being stored somewhere. It seems so unsecure to me. Let's imagine seeds DB will be leaked somehow, so all the wallets will be compromised?
@@arendrnk that’s why the most important thing you can do is protect your seed at all costs, and keep it offline.
is there any problem if we are connected with internet while using the trezor wallet ?
I never recommend using your dedicated cold storage wallet to interact online.
You should use two separate wallets
In break it down in this video:
ua-cam.com/video/fnGT4U0cQ80/v-deo.htmlsi=VaSK6Fm7Slw28FxN
I have a sincere question, would you recommend a 24 word seed phrase over a 12 word seed phrase? My concern is that a 12 word seed phrase may be more hackable via brute force .
IMO If someone can brute force a wallet, it doesn’t matter if it’s 12 or 24 words, as the issue is deeper than just the seed phrase.
That said, why lot use a 24 word seed phrase if you can? No reason not to.
@@cyberscrilla Thank you for responding! To add one more layer into my question. Imagine a computer program that can guess 12 word phrases, versus a program that guesses 24 word phrases. Would you agree that the program that can guess 12 word phrases would have higher odds of "brute forcing" a wallet versus the program guessing 24 word seeds?
I’d assume so.
Also, I thought you might find this article interesting:
tangem.com/en/blog/post/brute-force-seed-phrase/
@@cyberscrilla That was a good read, do you personally use the 24 word seed phrase yourself? Again my concern is that a computer program can keep testing random iterations of seed phrases and eventually find one, god forbid it being one of ours.
@@cyberscrilla Thank you for responding, would you recommend a passphrase to further protect yourself?
I have now subscribed I hope you do too good information.
