Hey for anyone is 2023 still wondering why your radio not working and odometer flashing … it’s because when you switch to an 8.4 radio aka the big touch screen you will see these problems until you get a PROXY ALIGNMENT CONTACT YOUR CHRYSLER DEALER
ps.. I just put a 8.4 inch in my car last week went to Chrysler dealer today and they did a proxy and everything was fixed my volume works and my climate it took 4 hours but only cost $50 bucks
The yellow wire is not for the satellite radio, but for the rear back up camera to be connected there.
This has become a real challenge. I did get an RF4 radio. Odometer was flashing, volume control didn't work, rear speakers only, no balance, no fade. Went to two Chrysler dealers. First told me it was a VIN mismatch, and there was nothing they could do. Charged me $100. Didn't even stop the odometer from flashing. Second just agreed with the first and declined to look at it. I hit "restore factory defaults" and all the radio features came back. I thought I had it licked, except for the odometer. Not exactly. Every time I shut off the car it reverts back to the way it was, and I have to restore to factory defaults again. I'm not impressed with the dealers. If I can do more than them by pressing one button, I think they should be capable of synching it so it works properly.
Hi, they should have a way to get it linked to your car, this is a really rare issue and only happens if you are upgrading, it requires programming by the dealer.

I installed an RF4. My car is not dual climate. Is that why there is only sound coming from back speakers and the volume doesn't work? Same with temperature contols. Only fan speed works. Is there a way around this or can I only use an RF3?
Yea that is the issue, if your car is single climate the display must also be single

You will need to change the radio with a single climate, or if the dealer can program it for you.

So those don’t work in Chrysler 200’ they only work on 300,
