Hyah! Hope you enjoy this one. :)
Also, I said 88 percent for the frequency with the phaser... I meant 88 hertz! Silly me.

Good patch!
What I added to get a slower LFO effect when playing lower notes and a faster one when playing higher ones (I love this effect in reese basses):
Turn off BPM on LFO1, set the rate to 0.3Hz and drag the Note modulator onto the rate knob and pull it up to 100.
Adjust to your taste 😉
Great idea!
Not only is that reese sick, but the track immediatly had my head nodding. Great stuff alround. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for another awesome tutorial dude!
this song slaps!
very nice man, both tune and tutorial
Great Tutorial, Probably the best on youtube for a base sound to augment. There are a lot of options with this sound when you start messing with the LFO shape and warp modes. Thank you.
really good patch, man! thank you!
Man your videos are perfect! Little demonstration in the beginning, then staright to the point without dragging it out or advertising a sample pack every 2 minutes! Love it! 10/10
NASTY man, i know its an old video but please keep em coming
So glad I found your channel. These tutorials are next level! And that track is maaaaaad! The simplicity actually does it for me.
So cool! I love the neuro stuff.
Just found your channel. Loving the content so far. You make some sick neuro sounds. This sound inparticular is awesome . Thanks.
What a lovely and clean tutorial man.... Thank you so much ❤️
Nice tune mate
thanks, great tutorial without water like 90% tutorials in youtube.
Awesome tutorial, thanks for sharing!
I have Serum, but I'm applying this knowledge in Korg Gadged (Korg electribe wave gadget) on the iPad, it's fun trying to reproduce what you can do with a master tool using plastic toys and a fork :)
Anyways, love the short videos about this stuff, thanks!
That sounds interesting!
Great patch dude, gonna try this out asap! Cheers for the tutorial!
sick track!
Great tutorial, thank you! 🙌
Awesome, thanks man

Bruh I wish I had these tutorials when I first started making music lol
Oh my god it's so filthy. Btw I have a friend who is interested in a collaboration with you, he's going to be dropping his debut ep on Odio Records in a couple of weeks and he wants to get at least 1-2 collabs in because he has time for it now that he won't be working due to the pandemic. If you're done then I'll have him send you his SoundCloud. Cheers! and by jesus that bass is still getting me.
I can check him out. What is his Soundcloud?
this is v nice, thank you boyo.
pretty sick.
very cool sound :)
nice vid! would like to some dnb reese tutorial. keep it up
You're going to make me get Serum
I recommend it! I used Splice's rent-to-own model and just paid monthly for it. Once it was paid off it officially became mine. :)
just subscribed, amazing stuff!! i was wondering if you’ve heard of SOPHIE? she has a song called faceshopping, and the main synth is really cool; would you be able to make a video on something like that?
I have heard of SOPHIE and I will check it out. :)
Been looking for someone with left field bass style to show tuts.. thank you! Also where do u get your samples?
Splice and artist packs from artists from Lost Dogz/neuro artists such as Chee and Copycatt.
Great synth work. Love the sound. Just one point, HP stands for “High Pass” not High Peak, ie you let the high frequencies pass and not the low. Exact opposite of a Low Pass Filter that lets the bass pass through the filter and cuts out the high range. Given this is a tutorial best ensure the learners know the correct terminology. Please don’t take offence to this as it is meant well. Thanks for the tutorial, as I said, great sound! All the best, Dr Nimble (fellow producer).
The reason I say high peak is because the filter I choose is under the combination section of the filter list in Serum's filters. This has a list of filters that are combined with other filters. Although HP normally means high pass, in this one case it is high peak because the selection has both a high pass and a peak available inside it. If you notice under HP it says HN, which means high pass and notch, it is because it is set up like this that I call them as such. This just has to do with the combination filters available in serum and nowhere else would I refer to HP as high peak. Thanks for the kind words and for looking out either way. :)
HAKOBO Fair play. Thanks for explaining. Keep up the good work.
Can you do a tutorial on the sound design of track 3 (the bass pluck kinda sound)?
I believe the video I made just after this one is that very sound.
🔥
What is 'trilobyte' in your preset menu? I can't find such serum-pack in Google:(
Nicee
Is the sine comp bass from this project preset on your patreon :D ? and or a tutorial :D :D
Are you talking the distorted white noise bass? If so I have a tutorial under that name. Thanks for watching!
Yo this is random but did you ever make a track called “Tsuruda Wannabe”? I downloaded a track a long ass time ago and i swear it was made by you. I dont know the actual title anymore because all it says in Rekordbox is tsuruda wannabe haha anyway if thats you that track slaps!!! I love it

Do u have a tut for the reese that hits on the 21st bar in this video? That shit chonky
The white noise bass?
@@HAKOBO Inst Track 5, the sound that hits on the 21st Bar
What do you do for those distorted hits after the Reese bass?
Check out my tutorial on distorted white noise basses. :)
Bro, where is from vocal part?? What acapella is this please?
I often use rap acapellas like Madvillain lowered in pitch with a formant shifter. I forgot which acapella this was from specifically.
@@HAKOBO Thanks a lot!! Great tutrorial!
@@HAKOBO what formant shifter u use for this vocal effect?
how did you make that little wub stab/hit?
It's a square wave FMed with Anti-Stasis put up an octave. :)
Lowpass filter LFOd 60 percent.
Hyper, compressor, distortion, flanger, and another low pass to clean it up.
I can make a video on it if needed!
@@HAKOBO that would be great! That's such a signature sound that you can use for so many things

@@HAKOBO Whats then name of the video?
