Great fun! I owe # 63 and this one is #65. I like German spruce. No risk transaction with Nate Wright! If Shawn is having a fun time, you can too!
Man I think we should put your Wright video out next week; that’s a killer Guitar for sure!
Amazing. I like how the sunburst isn’t an exact parallel to the outside line; doesn’t look like a smaller guitar inside the sunburst like others do. And MAN, these boutique builders are bringing these beautiful wooden boxes to life! 😊
Man Nathan is just unbeatable on a burst in my opinion. He ranks up there with the top of them for sure! You are correct, when we think about something like the authentic, who wouldn’t just go for a boutique instrument?
Maybe the best looking mahogany I've seen. Impeccable!
Nice materials, nice sound, nice playability, nice looking, man it is hard to beat this one!
I can see how the aged wood adds warmth and body. The bass is killer . The highs are high, but not too tinny, perfect.
The German spruce is just so round, I don’t know man, overall it is just a great sound!
Beautiful guitar and definitely the best of picking there Shawn
Buddy I sure appreciate it, I think the guitar is probably better than my playing though lol.
Great sound and great playing! I owned #36 (a maple J-35 style guitar) and I own #61 (so-far the only J-185 style, also maple B&S, with Addy top). Fantastic luthier.
I sure appreciate you taking the time to give this one a listen; Nathan builds a great instrument, and it is a parent that you have pretty exquisite tastes my friend!
The burst is exceptional!
Lovely sounding guitar, nice overtones and sustain with a rich top end and thumpy E. Very musical.
Man that is a great summary, I think you hit the nail on the head; it is just very musical.
My jargon would say, he is a creator and his creations are very good!
Sounds like sinker mahogany, with the overtones, and has growl to it. It's probably one of the best sounding 18's I've heard. Great demo
You are right Joe, it does have a sinker quality in the basses for sure! Just a good round box.
I truly appreciate you and what you are doing.
John, man I sure do appreciate these comments from you. Thank you for taking the time to give these things a listen, and offer up your perspective on them. It means a lot to me.
Really nice bro
Yeah man! Pretty near perfect I would say.
Shawn I played this 1 man its a killer box
There you have it folks, the man owns a 37, has played every kind of great guitar coming and going, builds as great of a sounding box as just about anyone, and he said this was a killer. Buddy I always appreciate you, so many builders get the big head and refused to pass on a compliment to someone, and you just ain’t that way. Proud to call you a friend man!
@ShawnBrockMusic haha truth be told I tried to buy it from him that's facts all you got to do is ask him that's how good it is
It is a special instrument. I am mahogany heavy. But if not...
Man I know what you mean lol!
