There really hasn't been a problem in DC transfer of power... there was a dispute or demand for a recount by Al Gore who by all means had every legitimate reason to request it way back in 2000 but he didn't turn into a whiny cry baby. I recall he had strong enough feelings to sense that something funny happened in "certain" states but he diplomatically and professionally handled the situation so much it seems like most people have forgotten or it's a distant memory but the named individual's behavior is the recent source of children like behavior.
