Yeah I knew they existed, a pretty handy adapter to have. Earlier I was just running the stove on the 1 pound canisters, I don't cook much, so was getting over a month on the 1 pounder, so not a big deal. Then I forgot to buy another one!
It was fated that Carlin would come to have a device that would multiply his access to propane, and lo did it happen, and it was good. In days to come people would speak in hushed and reverent tones of how the Mighty Carlin fulfilled his manifold destiny.
I'm honestly not sure. Seems to be working fine, use it most days. I have a Buddy heater and a propane camp stove running right now right from the tank. Maybe they both have built in regulator? When I bought the adapter hose I couldn't find any mention of using a regulator. So far so good I guess!
@@CarlinComm They both do. The regulator on the stove is that piece of brass that sticks off the side. The one in the heater is internal. That said, don't expect all appliances to have them, they're usually somewhere between the hose and appliance. Some use a lot more pressure than others. Look up how to cook with a wok to see what I mean. You don't want your stove doing that.
I like it! Must have been maddening deciding between the stove OR the heat! Carlin's living in style now! Slick!

Pretty good idea
Yeah its pretty handy. I was excited the first time I saw one!

Haha :) So it was written ;)
Don’t you need a regulator hose when using a bulk propane tank?

@@alexanderson7101 ok cool, good to know, guess I got lucky! Thanks 😊👍
Can this be used on a 30 pound tank?
Yes, it's a standard size fitting, so it would work with any of the tanks, but not for the 1 pound canisters.
@@CarlinComm thanks like your video. 👍
@@jmallard65 Glad to help!
