Patino is not that impressive.
Unuvar and TommyDoyle for example are a lot more tekky and silky than Patino.
The fact is, our academy players are not that great.
The only mistake Arteta made on academy players was to let OmariHutchinson go. Other than that, he made the right call not playing most of them.

patino is good, juventus want him not by accident, and many other teams will want him.

and it's wild you say patino isn't it, he's got better production than hutchinson from a deeper role in the same league as him.

Balogun and Willock are overrated, and so is Patino.
They are not tricky, flashy, skillful, technical, tekky, silky, creative, intelligent enough. They can’t do skill moves or tiki taka passes the ball.
Look at how skillful and silky, how beautiful ManCity academy players are on the ball, how they love having possession, and how they pass the ball in possession is absolutely beautiful.

Arteta doesnt give Academy kids a chance any way, he will go spend another 35m on a midfielder, Patino, Walters, Skelly, Nwaneri, Sousa are all doomes under Arteta, he even chose to spend 65m on Havertz instead of giving Smith Rowe a chance, its over for Charlie

Our academy is producing some of the best youngsters in the country! Be patient and they will be our future
