It took him a lot of time to understand and play football he was just playing with a football He played football in ac Milan and benifica He played with a football in the the premier league
He was skillful, had vision, but what fell apart was he wasn't accorded the same trust or respect from his new teammates in the premier league. Qpr brought in like 6-7 new players and replaced him as captain. in the championship, the team played around him. He was the talisman. But in the premier league, the influx of new players destroyed the previous 'hierarchy'. In the championship, the goal was to pass the ball to taarabt and let him dictate the game. it all changed when they went to the premier league and his new team looked fed up with him hogging the ball and losing possession frequently. He couldnt replicate what he did at the championship because he was arguably in a new squad. they didn't gel well, he was desperate to get his first goal, and every game he went without a goal, made him hungry to keep hogging the ball and worsened things. It produced some really good clips and highlights but not many of them turned into a goal. It was pleasing to watch but no fruits. When they changed managers close to the end of the first season, he sprung back to life, and inspired his team to survival. The second season however was a different tale altogether.
A young teenage Taarabt would have been bought for 50m in today's game and wrapped in cotton wool. A big club would have taken care of him and made sure he stayed professional. No doubt he would have been a world class player today. Played in the wrong era unfortunately!
I wonder why he got a standing ovation and MoM award???; every footballer gives the ball away several times in a game especially strikers even Lionel Messi loses the ball several times before producing a highlight moment of magic
@@Couragethecowardlydog509 his pass completion was 71.7% in this match. He got subbed off in the 92nd minute with his team winning 0-1 against arch rivals, of course he would get a standing ovation. He was a good player when he wanted to be, but world class is a huge stretch.
@@busysloth138 I think you will find history is on my side with this one. Taarabt went onto score 24 goals in the rest of his career after the 12/13 season. These are not the numbers of a world class false 9. Genius player on his day yes, world class never in a million years.
@@bicks82 you didn't get me , creative players always try killer passes and through balls and often than not these will get intercepted but eventually one slips through , so looking at pass conversion rate as a way of rating someone is not so smart cause even a pass from a meter out is included in that conversion...... and as you can see in the video taarabt was the main creative outlet and kept trying through balls and many actually led to excellent chances but alas his teammates werent skilled finishers
It’s a fact he wasn’t world class, I feel people don’t actually know what this means. World class means he is one of the best players in his position in the world. Which he simply wasn’t. Great player but not world class.
Looking back was Adel Taarabt's Football IQ underrated? 👇
erm... no? its one of the lowest ever seen at the top level, and most people rate it as one of the lowest ever seen at top level... so again... no?
if you knew ball you never underrated his football IQ. it was normal IQ you questioned lmao
Actually, I feel like how quickly he could process the game was his best skill.
@@sm42941 Surely by "most people" you mean yourself? Taarabt was a natural, and it's quite obvious. But he didn't have the work ethic.
Remember me when this channel is massive
❤

Best player in Championship history
How about vardy?
mitrovic with 40+ goals in one season

Thank you brother 🙏
Cracking night this...
Contra Chelsea errou todos os passes. Jogadore se nota 5 garantido. Só tem dribles e nada mais.
Nem o Messi jogou bem todos os jogos irmao

He plays in my club now Al nasr in dubai
poor man's Zidane
The guy was excellent. Remember him playing against my club, the guy was the best player on the pitch. Happy when he was subbed.
Zididin zadan
He never passed
Nutmegs...I prefer.
This seems to mostly be him giving the ball away?!?! World Class??
I wonder why he got a standing ovation and MoM award???; every footballer gives the ball away several times in a game especially strikers even Lionel Messi loses the ball several times before producing a highlight moment of magic
Bicks doesnt know football

I thought he only existed in PES
If Taarabt could get over himself, he'd have been a $100m player.
Don’t know why I see a Sancho resemblance…
special player
Had a lot of talent but world class is a stretch, takes a lot more than god given talent to be world class
Baller
he had flashes in the game.
More taarabt content 🔥🔥🔥
I have more planned 🙏
Hysterical calling some of these plays world class. He is quite skillful on the ball tho
He was not world class ffs where has this narrative come from after 1 great year in the Championship? He’s basically Mitrovic level at best
Shut up would ya
Mitrovic is a good player but Taarabt had skills that got people off their seats
Way more will remember Taarabt than mitrovic

Comparing mitro and tarabt ahaha u ok? Its like comparing michael phelps and max verstappen
Hahaha only real footballers know
you got me for a second.
this is a compilation of failed passes and shots. LOL
Streets will never forget Adel Taarabt
World class? Give ow'er man
Title say world class ..Seconds into it gave the worst first touch lol ...
Whats šo special
he never passes :) youtube world class football player LOL:
Very talented and skillful player but he was too selfish and kept the ball much longer than necessary.
He was too inconsistent to be world class. 1 in every 10 games he was good
The whole video is just him losing the ball and missing passes💀
No he wasn’t 😂😂😂
He was crap
타랍은 메시가 아니야...
제발 공 좀 돌려... 공은 너보다 빨라
Very bad passing
