This has some surprisingly tricky puzzles. The one near the end with the Visa cards especially. I've added a little text to the video to try and explain my working on them. :)
Just a heads up to anyone playing, I downloaded the demo, and the visa puzzle changed slightly. DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO FIGURE IT OUT FOR YOURSELF. The entire code is significant. A non numerical character has been added. Be sure to use a dash before the last two numbers. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out, came back to here to see if I misunderstood part of the puzzle, or missed something.
Looking for lost family member - check, public transport to the place but not out of it - check, password is written on the wall - check, noone there but you still have to go through customs - check, power was already on but you can't proceed without starting up a generator - check, constantly talking to self - check, etc. etc. Instant Classic.
I was enjoying the shit out of this one, the puzzles make you think but aren't so obtuse you need a hint system or a feeling that you missed something somewhere, and each one has some quirks that make you think more than "input code here"- the suitcase being upside down, realizing that since he quit, he did last week's chores, not the week he quit, so the number would be different, and for the Visa, realizing each dot represents a number, and thus subtracting that dot gives you the ones you don't have tickets for. It definitely gave me some Professor Layton levels of "A-ha!" when I was running off, only to figure it out. The calming music, lovely scenery, and hints of something more, plus the AMAZING UI and camera system made problem solving seamless. I love games that let you take notes for its puzzles IN GAME. Made me think of the DS game Another code with being on an island and being able to take pictures and scribble notes. The art style is both pixelated and retro, but also highly stylized and realistic in a way we've seen in recent retro-aesthetic games, the pixelization and shading on top of modern lighting and well placed textures making it look photorealistic from a distance, but framerate savingly low textures up close. The blurriness of textures also helps in design too- important text will be legible, while unimportant fluff text won't- if you're straining your eyes, it's not important, and if it is important and hard to see, you can zoom in. Thus, it's easy to narrow down which bits of information are actually useful. My only gripe is I'd love to be able to rearrange photos- I took a photo of my punched card very early on, and of the other cards as I found them, but they ended up being two pages away from when I got photos of the other documents, making it hard to keep info in mind as I moved from one photo to the other. I love the idea that not only does the protag not know what's going on...but potentially due to mismanagement and the quirky natures of visitors...nobody else knows what's going on either. The schizotech that was probably advanced or cutting edge for its day being a bit ragnarok-proof for 10 years of going to pot but also being quirky, or unstable. the fact they have a special portapotty for a ambassador instead of just putting in a proper bathroom, and the fact you arrive on the island only by skydiving onto a target suggests the peeps in charge are ...a bit eccentric. Also suggests some crazy advanced tech and maybe a good reason why a boat can't just sail up, considering the "wall" Aqueduct an recreations of world wonders. Definitely doin' the kickstarter for this one.
Whoa, I had no idea you guys did a video for this one! Don't know how I missed it, but I'm way late to the party. I'm the voice actor for Emily, and it's so fun getting to watch a project I really enjoyed voicing get played on a channel I really enjoy watching. 🥰
ABG not putting the gas cap back on the generator after they started it (and also not putting the gas cap back on the boat motor) made me cringe really really badly
Holy shit, that looks awesome ! I definitely could NOT figure out these puzzles myself, tbh. I hope they're planning on a Switch release, if they do I'll absolutely support the Kickstarter.
4:02 You know it's the kind of answer you could get from anyone getting a visa, so it's presumably not a negative or imaginary number. A fractional answer is unusual but still in the realm of possibility.

I'm curious, how'd you get the idea for the channel intro/outro you use?
Thanks for taking the time to add the explanation for the puzzle solving process! Definitely appreciate the extra effort. Great content as always!

Ever play Obsidian? Old Mac program thanks for your great videos and channel.
I would've lost hours on that, seems really complex

Make own visa card using complicated hole punch system check?
Definitely getting Myst vibes from this one. Beautifully (and lovingly) conceived. Definitely makes you want to explore to find out what's going on.

That scene at 10:23 is absolutely beautiful. The ocean looks amazingly realistic. The entire game is magnificent looking. 👍🏼😀
Honestly just a few minutes in with the robo guide, already give me shivers, definitely looking forward to this game

This game reminds me of Syberia. It's like Kate Walker is on some whole new adventure. I can't wait to play this game.
Loved the demo for this game. I'm definitely looking forward to the full release!

I’d love to see a full playthrough of this!
12:56 Probably a war between people having fewer oranges than other had avocados.
Quern was incredible, I am beyond hyped for this
Oooh you had me at Quern. That game was incredible and I expect this one is going to be great.
Holy shit, that looks awesome ! I definitely could NOT figure out these puzzles myself, tbh. I hope they're planning on a Switch release, if they do I'll absolutely support the Kickstarter.
Played the demo, its a fantastic game! Some very difficult puzzles lol, but super enjoyable
😯👍🏻Amazing game! Can’t wait for the full version in the future🙂
9:15 "I MIGHT HAVE taken a biscuit"
dude blaming theft of private biscuit property on his split personality or demonic possession.
Quern..........
RIP Artistcaleb.
Rest easy, buddy.

“You think you know better than UNNATKO (3) what to do with this month’s Ambrosia shipment?”
super cool one. They really nailed the vibe
7:26 I misread "Hope to see you in person soon" as "Hope to see you in prison soon"
Oh finally another myst-like game, I've been starved for good puzzles for the sake of good puzzles
2:32 you bluescreened the poor lady to death :V
0:04 was punching the screen a careful answer?
19:02 Game of the year
Sorta like Myst!
This game is in dire need of support on kickstarter
Creepy! Love it!
Looking good
Perforation Puzzle to difficult
It's a nice puzzle game with good vibe but unfortunately, it looks like their kickstarter is going to fail
Cat! It's a good game when you can interact with seagulls *and* the cat.
👍🏻✌🏻
WOW!I'M EARLY!And I don't have a joke to add...uuuhhhhh.....
Have you ever heard about the tragedy of Dark SidePhil the wide?
Hello
Interesting. They could use modern graphics. Clever games can actually have good graphics.
I have a sneaky feeling this will have good graphics at a certain point
Has some bad textures but doesn't quite nail the ps1 look. Weird hybrid that just looks like a mistake
