Id be glad to have him work for me anyway. So refreshing to see a young bloke with smarts and skills. Bravo
Work smarter not harder. The way that machine sounds when it’s running man. Like butter!! Great video even better welds
You've got game for a young lad.... respect from a old lad that's been doing it for 40 years.
Years dont mean skill
@@dinoj8126 Years mean experience and experience beats skill any day of the week and twice on sunday.
@@rampe5610 Not really. I know people that weld longer than me and i still beat them in any process and position.
Sometimes you just got a talent.
Im not saying that you can learn it over night, but in 3 years of welding i pretty much mastered it
@@dinoj8126 with respect, talent won't get you out of difficult situations when you're inexperienced or make a mistake, i could have a talent or natural aptitude for welding, for example, but if I fuck up because I thought I was hot shit and made a mistake, a boss or shop foreman wud attach his boot to my ass and kick me out of the workplace immediately, as he RIGHTLY SHOULD.
@@rampe5610 I agree, i never thought about myself that im the best. My point is that a lot of old guys think you can't be a welder if you don't have 20 years of expirience, specially where i come from, you can't get a job without expirience, and thats what annoys me a lot
A young lad that knows what he's doing how refreshing
It’s a really great skill. The best skill among foreign UA-camrs.
efficiency is the new fashion, those that don't become just that will be left behind!! love to see it, well done for a young one:))
My guy learn a lot from you ❤
Well done. That is the fastest way doing it. I've been a welder/fabricator for 21 years. Stay safe maty
Mr Calvin, good morning,am Ugandan but your work is nice work
Am innocent Atad,am Ugandan your work nice
There's a Job Shop here. In Ohio where I live that have some fronius equipment. The only difference between yours and this is it set up in standard measurement. Not metric. I enjoy your content. Keep turning and burning. As they say over here.
Turning and burning 🔥 i like that will do 👌🏽
@@ARCONEWELDING You're welcome.
liking your new shop in Ireland...best wishes form the USA....Paul
Thanks paul ✊🏽
@@ARCONEWELDING I do miss the Zombie Apocalypse intro though....sometimes I would rewind multiple times to hear, it gets this 68 year old Sod motivated.....best wishes.....Paul
Excellent work methodology! Time = money!!! You understand how to work smarter!
Awesome work, funny how you make little adjustments to the process as you go through each batch of pipes.
Yeah man constantly trying to find faster ways of doing it
Damn, your like the only one even in that shop, how lucky to work with almost no one around
Machine sounds like it's burning hot as hell... nice and crisp!
I popped some popcorn and watched this video 👍
8:47...your Twin looks faster than you...what a great effect......do not know how you did this,,,,,but really enjoyed the effect, very professional look...Cheers, Paul
Thanks man im learning alot of edditing skills every video 👌🏽
Our QC always freaks when we tack stuff to pipe. Usually on big bore fittings.
You and I are in totally different disciplines of welding. You would eat me alive in the shop lol.
Re the tacking bars to outside of pipes, if you can get away with it then why not.
We just use old flanges bolted onto flanges if we need to roll something and balance it out. For holding things in place like those lengths you laid out, we use wedges instead.
Is a shame they wont let us use mig for rolly's (client's choice, not our QA guys) looks so much easier and quicker. We use tig root (sometimes fleet root for bigger diameter carbon pipe) and 6013 fill/cap for slightly lower spec work (i hate the poxy things) but mainly 7016 lowHy rods (run them hot and they are as sweet as a nut, lovely and smooth.
Clients such as EDF and others at Hinckley wont even entertain the idea of any sort of mig/mag welding, not even metalcore. The only thing theyll entertain other than tig and lowHy (only full tig on stainless despite some of it being 30mm wall thickness pipe😒🤯) is gsfcaw.
Going karting right after work I see? Nice one man
19:52 😂😂😂😂😂😂
LMAO what a F legend, i am dead looooool
Классный видео монтаж! Спасибо!
Fantastic video and your rights that’s a lot of welding you’ve done. good job you had your twin there helping you tac it up😂.fair play to you your a proper hard grafter and great and tricks skills aswell👍👍
Yeah my little helper is alot of help 😉
Good welder and Big experience
Wow i feel old looking at the welding technology now. Im going to guess spray transfer? The beads are perfect. Good job!! You earned your money that day for sure. That helmet / filtration system tho!! Not to my liking but im old school. Ive worn similar and found them heavy and hot. Great video!! 👍
💪FRONIUS💪
Great job, good set up, nice to see someone who knows their stuff 👍
Nice up to date welding machine 👌
Could you do a video about how much you get paid for different pipes and welds? If it's not too personal. Keep up the good work man, love your videos
I would love to but information like that is to sensitive to discuss
@@ARCONEWELDING Its cool 👌

Dime a dozen. Every little shop Is pumping out columns and spools for super cheap these days. With the cost of material rising, it doesn’t help either. There’s no secret for the cost of these, if you’re in the business of fabrication. In short, super cheap, not making any money off of these columns. When you get into the 60 inch diameter pipe and fabrication, then you start to make some good money. I own a shop that has been constructing ASME pressure vessels since the 50s. From fabrication to machining, drill and tap, we do it all from beginning to end, coating as well. Grandpa started the business and now it’s in our hands. Keep on fabricating my friend!
Well presented mat. Efficient working practice.
Excellent work bro... Mantap seniman api
Health and safety go crazy
lol 2 Fronius welders at your disposal.. And here i am more than happy with my 3500 model haha
Yeah lucky me right 😉

I do as well with the piping as with the tanks, but with us we are not paid well, thank you colleague you are doing well.
Fantastic work! 👍
Que tipo de equipo usas, tu planta de soldar y tu careta, saludos desde México
I worked in Canada once calv and thats exactly the same we way did it out there.
Then you fully understand how much a game changer it is! 👍🏽
Except in Canada your not allowed to weld or have arc strikes anywhere outside your weld zone, that would be a cut out, why do that when you could just simply move the grou down from piece to piece no clean up or grinding after either...
@@kevinmurfilton7804 we have a biter.....
He does that to set up his end flanges in the same orientation a little clean up after is a small price to pay for the time saved in fabrication no way is there a quicker way and speed is the name of the game for them 💵
The noise of that welder can tell you the quality of the weld
Great job I have seen a few guys act like they are working and get less then a quarter of what you accomplished
“Good thing I’m not working where you’re working” 😂
I was abit butt hurt staying that but i get them comments all the time 😅
Don't let the cry babies get you down. Your videos are on point, theirs don't exist. It takes talent to do what you show for us. If they had any true talent they can always put their own stuff up.
You do you! Your paid by the weld, so its natural to streamline every process you do. But taching on the pipe in place of a clamp or improvised holder, is like using the beat-sync button instead of using your ear to beat match. Its cheating, but the codes you run under dont care. Plus, if it's not x-rayed, most companies butt and burn a no root weld anyway. I pipeline weld, and love watching your channel👨🏭👍
@ARC-ONE WELDING
ABSOLUTE MACHINE SIR
Fronius.The best you can get!IMO.
They cost a bit more, but they are worth it!
That thing sounds sweet
Hey, love watching your techniques for building, squaring and production-thinking! How much experience do you have with welding square tubing, steel plates and structures? Do you think there is any difference between having 4 or 8 tacks when preparing for welding, or is there no difference in distortion? Do you always use 4 tacks, or do you use more on big pipes like 200 or 300mm? What is also the reason why flanges have a loose fit on pipes instead of a tighter fit? What are the requirements for welding this stuff with push vs pull? What are also the pipes used for since you use wire with no flux? And if the feed was at the very end of the puddle, could you lower it to 200 amps? Not trying to be annoying, just a curious person here.
Alot of questions there mate 😅, so im a professional at pipe and average at structure but structure is usually multiple runs so its easier to lean structural then pipe, and 4 tacks are plenty even on 14" i just make them alittle longer, i could do more tacks but would just take more time and ive not had a flange warp yet. No clue why they fit so loose its worse the bigger the pipe is, i believe its one flange fits many size and thickness pipes, but i had to pass a xray test to weld this, hope i answered everything
The pipes are for low pressure water so this technique is perfectly fine even the push or pull technique, weld tube did a test and said it works fine both ways and im trying to be as powerful as i can for speed.
@@ARCONEWELDING you could change frequency and or the synergic pulse, that’d def improve welding speed
Tank you bro in performance
Good job, ver good job.
Sounds like pulse welding? Always fun to watch your work!
love watching you work thanks for making videos!
Got this down to a fine art.
I watch your videos multiple times and learn alot of teks and skill sets from you, I really appreciate what you do for the welding community. Did you move to a new shop? Or just another area that is better for your kick ass videos?
I own a baby Fronius compared to the ones you run. I have the TransSteel 2200 MV MP w/ dual gas inputs for MIG & TIG. I have been in structural welding for 15 plus years and Miller and Lincoln are industry standards here in USA. I get really weird looks pulling up with that flashy Fronius Red and a 15' whip with the swivel ball..... people are confused by it instantly and intimidated!
Im in a new shop atm in Ireland, will be here a few more weeks and thanks dude ✊🏽, and a fronius is definitely a slight to behold, but you guys are definitely stuck in your ways over there with only stick and tig welding pipe
@@ARCONEWELDING Not so actually! I worked for a train manufacturer for 3 years mig'ing #40 1/8" wall pipe ranging 3/8"-2 1/4" for the braking system on each car/Trolley😉 using 100% Argon and MCAW .025 through a Lincoln, it was my first " big welding" job bc I learned how to weld mig on 22gauge galv sheet metal. I was literally told to roll my own 5ft×18" joints of pipe Tack 2 of them together, Weld out and then Flange each end, the owner left me by myself and came back 4 hours later, I had nothing completed a bunch of new scrap pieces, I was so pissed I left for 2 days before I came back.
Thanks for the response back. Means alot bro. And Def need more DnB for your videos! I will hit you up on Instagram and share some really good tracks I love.
Very nice work and set up. Am I right in thinking some standards require gas pipe to stick welded not MIG? Good job. Cheers J
Ive done gas mig before
I'm not sure if it's a requirement but stick is commonly used for pipe welding outdoors where wind could be an issue for shielding gas. In the workshop mig I would say is faster.
really good work bro
I hope your getting paid well,I know working in a fabrication shop is hard work. So your doing peice work there? I did that before, your every move becomes efficient 😃. Those feronis welders sounds powerful. Good work 😊
I dont think we ever get paid enough 😅, but its crazy hard work even having a coffee becomes stressful because your not making money 😅
Great work bud
Great work what setting you running
Its in the video dude but its a pulse setting
@@ARCONEWELDING yeah probably should have waited until the end to ask questions but thanks for hitting me back great job BTW
Are youn paid peice rate for your pipe welding or hourly and about how much per hour do you think for something like this thank you.
per type and size of weld
Very productive way of going about the job well done calvin, who was the guy with a tounge like a tail lift at 20 10 ha ha stay safe
Thanks man and He's the saw guy, guess he wanted his 15min of fame 😅
Excellent job, man!
Greatings from Russia :)
GOOD JOB HERO
From one welder to the next, quality work my friend, and excellent work ethic!!
Mig is so clean
great job
hope you best bro
done that too with electrodes, Lloyds protocol, cap one bead in the middle , 4 inch thick 45 minutes, could turn it though, your mig is way faster
Hellow I'm from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿👋👋
Hello “from Kazakhstan”.... I’m dad... *eyes well up with tear’s of happiness*
Do you know GGG
Anyone else close their eyes out of habit when he’s welding 😂
where can i get one of the back pack? i do not want to wear around my belly. thank you
The first few times he tacked parts I closed my eyes out of habit lol
;м;==ы:
Once bitten twice shy bro 😭😭
Same
Nice job man 👌🏽
top notch mate
Great efficiency, respect man !
There's nothing efficient there... he'll spend more time cutting off and grinding down his tacks then he would have if he just move the ground from piece to piece...
I tacked the bar so i can work on both sides without the pipes moving, ive been at this years that is definitely the fastest way
I have 15 years behind the hood and on the trigger.... jigs, fixtures and Tack bars are used by the biggest 2 smallest manufacturers in the world for reasons, reduction in time, consistency, quality product production! Moving the ground from piece to piece is laziness and also shows a lack in skill and ability.
I think you rock bro! Haterz make us famous and help pay us!
@@crl8088 respect man!
@@ImBrickedUpRightNow Thanks! My passion in this field runs deep!
Best mig hand on youtube period absolutely phenomenal quality
Great work 👍👍. What’s the reason for push on the internal and pull on the external?
On the inside i find it gives a cleaner weld and on the outside its very hard to push and turn at the same time
cool, it's very interesting for me, too see how you work. i'm a chemical engineer 👌👍
If you cut a piece of pipe that's the same diameter as the pipe your working on to the length of your recess (15 Mil in this case) you can eliminate having to mark each pipe. It is also reasonably close when you level it up after your first tack. Eliminates a step.
What kind of shield is that that you have?
Awesome vid bro...
Fronius very good machine
There’s always a ugly minion photo bobbing were I work as well. Keep up the great work and content
what a clever man
Pretty impressive welding and I guess from what your saying you are price work that one way to make your money quicker, maybe you should teach some of the welders I work with as u make even myself look like amateurs lol.
Awesome work sir. 💪 I want some of those red and black coveralls you have in the beginning of the video
They are racing overalls from teamsport karting
nice job man
Fronius💪🏻💪🏻
Simple and efficient
Nice work man!
Nice job 👍❤️❤️
nice one respect from germany
Well done
Nice work, can you show us how to build that square to check the flanges alignment pls
Nice job
You're hired
это космос.
Причем, не на батуте.
Was definitely expecting 2 guns 1 guy
Très appréciée frère
these mig's sound crazy. are these things inverters at a higher frequency than 60hz?
In my country , mig welding is sort of inferior and dirty vs Tig welding with lesser pay. Now this is clearly the standard prob most fabricators want to achieve. May I ask how much would that welding machine cost in UK??
Mig has always been seen as inferior but is making a rise over the last 10years and around £6k-14k
Bring ur bait - dont tell ur mate
Got weekend work all over it lol
do you do any arc length setting adjustment on that? and yeah i agree on the about the Fronius machines.. mine does 250a on 100 percent duty cycle as well but i use a air-cooled torch on mine
The torch must get silly hot? And for the most part i dont change anything just weld on default settings
@@ARCONEWELDING I don't do many long runs but it can get toasty at times.. Im thinking of refitting mine with a watercooler in the future though. I put mine on 5+ for 250a spray and i leave it back at 0 for 280+
+5 that must penetrant deep!
Do you have a video how to sit up the mig welding machine sir?
i got a burn on my stomach from the nozzle yesterday. cant believe that fucker was cool to the touch like that. thats a nice damn machine.
It is good to be good !
