the "H" Key activates manula targeting, you still could have fought at least somewhat as long as you have line of sight. The Enterprise F is considered the Odyssey class from STO or The Century Class in the bridge commander mods. ;)
The Andromeda Ascendant did have a number of Slipfighters, & then the point-defense systems as shown in the first episode when taking on enemy ships, if it was fully crewed. It also could have used its AI in doing a cyber-attack against the various Enterprises, to at least slow them down, or maybe even shut down their systems, taking them out of the fight peacefully, Cpt Dillon Hunt style.
classic game no scaling properly. so if we just go by teh show. 1.) the andromeda ascendant has a full sentient AI on board that can pilot the ship and do everything so essentially it can maneuver and do combat much faster than any organic operated ship. if starfleet got scared sh*tless by teh M5 computer rommie makes the M5 unit look archaic by comparison. 2.) andromeda ascendant can pump out firepower that is superior to even a full locked and loaded starbase yorktown or starbase 1 or even a full fleet. rommie can pump out 19200 missiles (1 missile - 1 photon torpedo) in one minute (or 8 missile per second per tube). since we never seen any trek ship (other than the TOS enterprise) take more than 2 dozen photon torpedoes before shield failure i can say that all the enterpises here can probably be wiped out in 5-10 seconds. before anyone say oh but teh Enterprise-E or G have quantum torpedoes so their shields should be able to withstand quantum torepdoes too ok fine let's say they can take 40-50 photon torpedoes. still same thing they can get wiped out in 10 seconds. anymore it's being generous. 3.) then rommie also has powerful AP cannons again that pack even more punch than photon torpedoes. imagine these things as quantum torpedoes yield. on top fo that fighters. on top of that smart combat drones that can run interference or scramble incoming fire. on top of hat she has specific point defense lasers that can potentially intercept incoming photon torpedoes. they're that insane. 4.) on top of that her mass is huge she is Length: 1301m Beam: 976m Draft: 325m so on top of her insane armor plating, repair with nanobots she can absorb a lot of damge as we saw in the season 1 finale where she survived singularity weapons. (mini black holes being fired at her by the magog) 5.) they got hercules for captain. nuff said. lol
I agree, if it was in the real world. Andromeda would win hands down. I was just about to reference the Point Singularity Weapon. A federation ship would have been completely destroyed. Although Andromeda is set around the year 5000. So a bit of a leap ahead in tech. The point about Hercules is very valid, haha! There's an episode where he gets his hercules sword out and a wig on Andromeda. Quite funny.

not even close to reality based upon the evidence in the tv show. completely ignore Andromeda nova weapons, capable of destroying a star, as well as the fact that it can literally for 40 40megaton weapons out of rapid fire missile tubes. And completely ignores the Andromeda anti missile plasma weapons that would destroy all the measly volley of torpedoes that the star fleet ships can fire at a time. In the first episode the Andromeda survives an ambush by 10,000 ships that are from 7-8000 years in the future of earth, far beyond star trek technology.

Before I watch, I can't speculate...I need to watch Andromeda. I love the cast, I just couldn't get into the storyline. 😔 I'll try to find it on a streaming service. I like Kevin Sorbo and Lexa Doig. I had the same problem with Farscape...I liked the cast but lost interest...but then they all transferred to Stargate 😆 Edit: oh yes, those quantum torpedoes pack a wallop 🤣
When it first came out on TV I did not like the show. I caught a few episodes of the last season and really liked it. I bought the DVD set and watched the entire series. It was really great. Some of the episodes were really stupid at times but each season built on the last.

I can't believe Dillion Hunt lost. A warship with AI and drone guided weapons should be able to defeat Starfleet manned fire ships perhaps strength in Numbers. Too fast for Romey to keep up.

@@phillipwallenjr9709 40 megatons is only a mid level photon torpedo. E and G have Quantum torpedoes.....really about right.

I think the Quantam torpedoes were a deciding factor in this. I think if Rommie was piloting she would have won!
