How do you find out what system type to select, some vehicles have multiple like type 1, type 2, type 3, etc. Do you just try them all until it works? Im worried if i select the wrong one that i could possibly damage the vehicle in some way.

It’s giving me the same issue but mine doesn’t turn on when I put the control next to the start button it just beeps twice
What are you using to program it ?
The same machine as yours autek ikey 820
My new keyfob is not an OEM keyfob does that make a difference?
@@ranamercado2215 if you get the wrong key fob . It will not work. It must match the right key fob with your car system
Ohh how do i know if its the right one? I got it on ebay and it said it was for a 2017 nissan altima
my local locksmith tried to program 2 new fobs and he told me that the instrument cluster would not light up and it will not go into the on position what can it be???
What car year and model? What key programmer are they using ?
@@autopurlieu 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5s he was using something similar to yours and used another one that was wireless also it had the steering lock engaged and now it’s not.
@@pspgohacker1 not all key programmer are capable of doing sure any cars. Specially for Nissan , wrong programming process can burn the bcm of the car
Also Nissan has plenty of key fobs, I’ve seen more than 20 key fobs for Nissan and infinity (even they all look the same) and it must be specific for certain car. It could be a wrong key fob
@@autopurlieu no problem I will take a look into it and I’m having another lock smith come by on Monday morning I explain to him the same thing I told you and he said he could do it so fingers crossed that it was a mistake and or wrong procedure the last guy did.
