Same method for starting pretty much every 2 stroke engine... Prime with fuel, Choke on.. Pull till it pops.... Let choke off... Pull again... Will fire right up
I run a 32" on my g372xp and it's happy with it. As you may have noticed already after working it a bit it smells like rubber or plastic burning. The aftermarket cylinder is a bit to tall. You can carefully file it down about a 1/16 or just change the jug. With the low grade plastic it reaches melting temperatures pretty quick. I built mine as a kit and used Husqvarna plastic and Hyway jug. Running strong for better than a year now with regular use.
We run the husq version at work. When they flood no choke, and wedge your foot so it's full throttle crank your butt off. Once it fires it will be rough till she clears up. Don't let off the throttle
I had a similar thing happen to mine with the spark plug wire. Plus a bonus of a loose screw in the engine getting stuck and jamming the flywheel. "Quality control"! Runs great now though.
Yahoo - I got myself portable gym too. Now I use it half/half - 50 pulls on right hand and 50 pulls on left hand. A few months and my hands will be like my legs.
Personally I think it's better to buy them as a kit saw, that way you can check everything is assembled correctly and change out any parts that look sub standard, or simply upgrade the parts you want with OEM parts to increase the longevity. Of course this isn't a good approach for everyone, it takes time and a certain amount of knowledge is required, but it is fun and you get piece of mind that it's as good as it can be. Nice vid. Regards.
@@EverythingElliott I know man I am 13 and getting one soon I work with my uncle and his dad my grandpa we sell firewood so yeah my grandpa he pays me 50 dollars every two weeks so I am at 153 dollars now the I am getting has a smaller top it is 294 dollars so yep but I hope you make it big man
Screw your low jet in all the way till it seats then back it out 1 1/2 turn that will get you running. But to adjust it properly make sure the saw is warmed up all the way screw it in very slowly till you hear the motor start to die then screw it out till you hear the motor start to die. Remember how many turns it took an set that in the center. Of the 2 an you will be good to go on the low side.
When it bites, flip the choke to half choke then continue and she will start. If you don't then it will flood. As for the sparkplug boot, use boot pliers, that will happen on anything with a sparkplug. Doesn't have really anything to do with it being from china, most everything is made in china or assembled elsewhere with parts from china. Sorry you had such difficulties, 2 stroke power equipment can whoop most peoples ass. Good luck!
Hmm that’s strange, if you check out my other video of using it the first time I didn’t have any issue with it starting once it was warm as you’ve described

I guess that's about all you can expect when purchasing a saw for a fraction of the cost.
When she pops, turn the choke off! good lesson for anyone out there looking at these saws for the first time

Good honest video review...thanks
Thanks for watching! I have a couple other videos of me using it if you want to see it in action, check out my tree cutting playlist
Nice video... I checked ✔️ out the channel and subscribed! You do good work sir!
Thanks for the support!
So after a couple years does it still run and are you happy with it? Thanks.
Runs great! Did a muffler modification to it since this video, just tuned it up and it’s a ripper

That’s a great idea and I would for sure do that for the next one. When I purchased this, I didn’t know that was an option. Thanks for watching!
Would not be a bad idea to make sure the sparkplug that came with it is gapped correctly
This is very true. They probably just toss it in there without gapping it
Get this damn man 4k subs now plzzz I see so much progress in him

Looks like u might have flooded it looked like you didn't turn the choke off after it hit that first time
That is for sure what happened. Learned my lesson. Every time I start it now once it pops I hit the choke off and it fires up the next pull!

Still running great! Fires up everytime, hasn’t let me down yet

I suggest changing the fuel lines to ECHO fuel line ESPECIALLY the impulse line after a few months they get soft and collapse

Thanks for watching, and I don't believe I blamed Farmertec at anypoint...
Choke on pull until it burbbles then choke off it will be at high idle three pulls it starts..

What fuel ratio are you using.
40:1 I believe it is

Once mine is warm will only start with choke on i put a oem carb on adjusted it nothing helps

It sucks have to choke it after it’s warm
Is it possible your low needle is dirty not allowing for proper fuel flow requiring you to minimize air flow?

Probably built on a Friday
Is there even such thing as a Friday in China?
And idling saws for breakin is nonsense
Funny to watching the amateurs on UA-cam.
Gotta start somewhere, right?
Aren't they suppose to be orange like the husqvarna
The “joncutter” brand is orange but those are smaller saws. The larger saws are blue.
The reason why i ask that is i have the holtzfforrmer G372xp and mine is orange
How long ago did you buy it? They used to be orange but switched to blue a little while back
May 6 2020
Hmm strange, maybe they ran out of orange food coloring and went to blue
