Thank you so much for putting up this video. I’m still learning QuickBooks even though I’ve been using it for years. This was the first time I actually had to manually enter a check because I’m so used to just printing the checks and so your tips on how to do that really really helped. Thank you very much!
I have Premier Pluss 2022 desktop edition. When I enter a vendor bill from the open PO, which already has all the description of the items, that description auto populates into the Items section of the Vendor Bill. I have only entered the item in the Item List once, so does the item automatically get categorized as a Cost of Goods Sold since it is on the Vendor side of QB? Would that same item be categorized (on a P&L sheet) as Income when it is on the Sales Order and then client Invoice? I'm not sure if I have to enter 2 different item Lists for one product sold...one as a COGS and one as a Income or if QB just knows how to categorize it on a P&L??
Hi Carlos, You can connect the bank feeds in QuickBooks. So your transactions come through. If you want to automatically retrieve statements you need to use an app like www.hubdoc.com/
If I am already using QB Online would it benefit me to also have the Self Employed app in addition or is what I have sufficient? I can't help but think that if I am already paying for QBO I should be able to download the self employed app for free to use in conjunction with QBO?
Ok. Awesome! I do have the QB app downloaded on my Galaxy. I just learned today how to take photo's of my receipts and enter them into QB from my phone as expenses. That's the only interaction so far I've had with the phone app. I'm very new to QB's and still trying to learn the PC version. It's an awesome app but boy is there alot to learn! I do love that part however, the learning and mastering new things. I feel accomplished when I succeed! Thank you and I really enjoyed your tutorial for entering expenses. It re-assurred me that the reciepts I entered today were done so correctly and clears any misunderstandings regarding entering bill's and receipts. I was a little confused until your video. All the tutorials that everyone creates for new user's like myself are worth their weight in gold. Plus by watching more than one person's presentation I understand it better. One person may explain something a little simpler which makes it easier to process than another. Also I believe I take away something from everyone! I will subscribe to your channel and look forward to more from you. I appreciate you answering my question so quickly!
Does anyone know if QuickBooks has a free practice offer? Where I can setup a fake job with QuickBooks and practice with it? I was able to do it a few years ago but I'd like to do it again. I didn't get much practice or instruction with QuickBooks in school so I would like to play with the program now without having to buy the entire program.
Credit, billing, billable. Awesome Job? I don't get it. I manage a dental office, but I don't get this. I use spreadsheets to keep track of costs, and what is owed. Maybe I just don't know the terms? I need a tutorial on what all these terms mean I think. God I hate adulting.

There is an app for QuickBooks you can download on your phone no matter what version of QBO you are subscribed to.
