That's when they were made in Stuttgart Germany not from Alabama USA. It turns heads in my small town. And it waighs over 4 thousand pounds. It's a 1995 s320 it was 70,000 dollers in 1995 new . I wanted a rolls Royce but my wife said no way. I have to wait until she passes. Oh well.
You totally lost me with your comparison of this Benz with any Lexus. I was so feeling your presentation of this class vehicle and then you put it under Lexus. Maybe I misunderstood something 😳
These car are too under powered to be a 6 cylinder.. my friend just had to rebuild the engine at 150k miles and now the transmission wont go into 5th gear.. 1995 s320. Found a youtube video that says its a easy fix (got to insert a pin by the gear shifter but have to removed everything from center console. The problems are coming in hard, blower resistor died so AC wont shut off unless you disconnect the battery. Jus ordered the part 64.99 on FCPeuro (best place for lifetime warranty parts). turning signal died, we changed the light, turns out the wire harness for the lights started to melt (same problem I had on my BMW 328i). The right door stopped opening and recently the fuel pump most be going because car just loses power. We changed fuel filter, added a fuel additive and also drove the car till empty to put fresh new gas (always use Super 93) and no luck. Its kinda sad because my 1991 Cadillac brougham d'elegance lasted me 280k miles (purchased with 90k) never had any problems at all and I sold it to someone that still drives it today with no problems. All I had to do was minor stuff like some suspension parts that cost me a couple hundred buck and just regular oil changes. I will never buy a German car again for a while. It just doesn't make sense. I need my car to work.
You need to learn how to drive. It does drive very precise and never does anything unexpected even when you max out speed on the autobahn or on any curvy mountain road. You can control it really well IF you are savvy.
Well I guess I really have to try driving in Germany. Definitely a dream come true for me. Here in the Philippines we have really small roads so our driving style has never really been adapted to high speed driving :((
@@KyleLiongCars it is not about going straight fast - it is about maneuvering quick in tight spaces like you can see it how in movies like Ronin performed - and this is possible even with the M140 but you need to train and learn how to tame the masses but it is possible. With the right winter tires for example going over the Alps during snow all done and lots of fun ..
Nice Video ,BUT ! - I can see that you fear the almighty S600/600SEL's V12 . I belive you never worked on the V12 M120 Engine or have watched to many UA-cam videos of incompetent V12 owners or those that wanted a cheap Mercedes W140 V12 . It is so easy to work with you wont belive but only for the owner like my self that knows the Engine . Only thing i could advise is that a V12 owner should have his Personal Scanner [C4-5] to check for fault codes if something isn't right not to just throw unessesary parts by gussing what a problem might be like many do . Dont be affraid of the V12's , they the same as S320-S420/500's just that some parts are double . Some say that the S500 V8's are only 1 second slower then the V12's , trust me it's more then that . Aah that Torque (580kpm) on take off in 1st or 2nd gear .......... or keeping revs at 1600 rpm , at those rpm , the 580 kpm is always available (what was that i saw in my rear view mirror ,aah , an S500 lol). This dosen't mean to rev the Crap out of the car but just to add . M120 engine standing at traffic lights ,one actually has to look at the Revs dial if the engine is on as it is so quiet & smooth . Go get that V12 & never look back , once you got one, you never look at any other W140 Variant again .
@Kyle Liong Cars Yes . I am aware that in Malaysia were you are at i think , Those are verry expensive still . I do have a few Malaysian friends with S600's that i used to help out .
Wow Kyle I don't know how you tolerate it, but how can you be wearing pants in the Philippines? When I went to visit my lolo and lola, the only time I wore pants was during their 50th Wedding Anniversary; I was wearing a Barong. Anytime after that was always wearing Shorts and a t-shirt.

我這台顏色跟你的一樣...也是320
除了皮革其餘配備都一樣

1996電子油門+5AT反應會比較好
動力大約要過3000 rpm才會出現 但在台灣也算夠用

@@KyleLiongCars ... welc bro, actually my parents do keep an W140 S600L V12 1997 model, fully imported from Japan instead of Germany... only done around 60k km only... fully loaded including original Satelite Navigation System with TV Screen, glass sunroof, headlamp wipers, parktronic parking sensor, rear and side blinds, duo tone Nappa leather seats, memory package, electric steering column, XENON HID and so on... its a 4 seater car as the rear seats are individual... the car cost us back rm1.3 million in 1997 eQuals to today 15.1 million peso
Geez that’s an amazingly specced car. How are you guys dealing with maintenance though? Must be a big pain
@@KyleLiongCars ... we still send the car to service at MB SC... it has full service record from day one, even hardly drive it now, we service the car every 6 months as reQuire... beside, my parents also own an W222 S63L V8 Bi-Turbo 4-Matic 2016, 2018 W205 C300, 2013 W212 PFL E350 Coupe, 2015 W176 A250 4-Matic and 2020 W167 GLE450 4-Matic
That’s sweet! I can’t imagine the bill you guys receive servicing all those 😅😅
Ang ganda ng car review mo, u deserve more subs bro. Naka subscribe na ko. Parang si Doug Demuro ng pinas haha.

Kyle, Sana ma-try ko din ang smooth ride ng Benz mo 😭
Very classy look can't compare to new modern car nowadays.

Agree. Ibang level tlga ng smooth siya
The reason the air vents are off center is because Mercedes added an extra gauge to the instrument cluster the previous generation didn’t have.
Why wasn't it integrated into the design though?
Just curious, is this the same benz model where Princess Diana died in back in 1997?
She was riding a short wheelbase version of this with a smaller 2.8L engine. The S280.
Well said. I subscribed
Thanks!
Best car ever!
Same thoughts
The old style climate control is not at all hard to use. It looks so much better and it is exclusive to the S Class, while that screen is the same I have in my CLK 230K.
Ok you’re right
Princess Diana’s last ride in 1997 with Dodi Fayed in Paris France.
Yes but we can't really blame the W140's design for it haha! The particular S280 that she was riding was already totaled and its structural integrity compromised :(
@@KyleLiongCars it's said the Mercedes reached speeds up to 65 miles per hour before hitting the thirteenth pillar on the left. Then it spun around and hit the wall on the right facing the rong way🎹🎶
@@MERCEDES-BENZS600GUARD_V12 yikes
@@KyleLiongCars yeah I can't even imagine that. Also after the crash the car was held in storage for investigation purposes for quite a wile. Maybe up to 20,17🎹🎶
@@KyleLiongCars just found this comment thread again the damage to the roof was due to the rescuers cutting it off to airlift her out. They said if she was wearing a seat belt she may hav survived. Also before the crach the Mercedes was already an accident vehicle🎹🎶
It's that multi-link suspension, man
Love it
I own one of these and may be selling soon to make room in my garage :( . Same color.
@@KyleLiongCars I'll definitely keep it.
Great choice
Nice!
Thanks
wait a minute! that's a S600 interior! stitched dash and two tone seats!! that only came in for S500 grand edition and S600!
Exactly that’s why it’s so rare because it’s mostly for the top trim cars only :)
I ran the VIN tho and verified that it really came original with the car, and wasn’t just swapped in
@@KyleLiongCars that's crazy my initial thought was someone swaped a S600 interior! I didn't think they offered that for 320's at least here in the US! I've never came across one here in the US so far! But it's so weird they put two tone interior and manual steering adjustments and no memory seats! What about the headliner Suede?
Headliner is alcantara. Kandi suede-like. Weird though the rear seats have similar pattern as the front but are monotone
@@KyleLiongCars its crazy how many variations and personalisations they did with one car! Some of the middle eastern came with wild specs too! I know on the w126 some came with TV's lol!
When yuh talk bout road presence.
It’s there
Personal car hehe sarap salpakan ng work varianza yan hehe ❤️
Ano g varianza?
@@KyleLiongCars work mags hehe
Personally sobrang hate ko mga aftermarket rims. Lalo na mga masyadong malaki haha! Purist all the way 😅😅

Hope that’s not bad haha
That's when they were made in Stuttgart Germany not from Alabama USA. It turns heads in my small town. And it waighs over 4 thousand pounds. It's a 1995 s320 it was 70,000 dollers in 1995 new . I wanted a rolls Royce but my wife said no way. I have to wait until she passes. Oh well.
Bro hold up
Nice car, but maintenance is expensive.
It’s not too bad haha
Wow
Yep issa wow car
The safest strongest heaviest car ever made
Ok not too sure about that

Million uniformed arrogant people like you. That's why I'm here to educate you now you can't be sure
You totally lost me with your comparison of this Benz with any Lexus. I was so feeling your presentation of this class vehicle and then you put it under Lexus. Maybe I misunderstood something 😳
Huh?
Our roads are tiny here. The 6-cylinders are perfectly fine for our roads :D
Would love to learn and try that someday
The car is very beautiful, my dream is to own this car .

W140 ❤

Alright haha! Some thing to look forward to in the future when time and budget permits :D
@Kyle Liong Cars Yes . I am aware that in Malaysia were you are at i think , Those are verry expensive still .
I do have a few Malaysian friends with S600's that i used to help out .
We’re in the Philippines. I think even more expensive than Malaysia haha! Less available parts too :(
The E38 7series much more beautiful
I personally like the W140 more

Great to have you back! You never fail to watch my vids hehe
yep lol
Wow Kyle I don't know how you tolerate it, but how can you be wearing pants in the Philippines? When I went to visit my lolo and lola, the only time I wore pants was during their 50th Wedding Anniversary; I was wearing a Barong. Anytime after that was always wearing Shorts and a t-shirt.
This is why I wear shorts in 90% of my videos haha! Pants are not comfy in this heat
If mercedes try to make another car like this and invest alot in r&d and more
China will make a cheap copy
