Good to see it’s back like I remember it in the 80s and 90s, nice and violent
I love how the first 5 seconds of the video is Charlie turning down a sketchy ass back alley.
thank you for risking your life so we can see how things really are! respect!!
Escape from L.A. Part 2
Staring CharlieBo313
😂😂😂😂😂 featuring snake blisten🐍
Sad but true
That’s pretty much just skid row but bro I love L.A can’t wait to go back..Being from Detroit them damn palm trees and sunny skies make you feel like you on a island some damn where 😂
AGREED
THIS IS A VERY VERY SMALL PART OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
HE KEEPS DOING CIRCLES AROUND THE SAME BLOCK
TRY SIXTH STREET AND CROCKER OR SAN PEDRO IT ARGUABLY GETS WORSE... SKID RIW BEEN THERE FOR MANY DECADES NOTHING NEW HERE
Its getting bigger by the day.
@@bodbn smaller actually, smaller over the past year and a half. That's why he keeps doing circles around the same block. Exact video as his last.
Right this is just downtown and skid row .
@bodbn It did during Covid from 2020-2022, but it's shrinking back into its traditional zone.
No person should have to live on the streets. This breaks my heart
@KevinP.-dz6wjlet her have ideals. Better than being soul-dead like you
There's a Yoshinoya in the middle of all that😂😂😂
Newsome must be so proud!!!!
His vision for all of America

@@veilofmayo1538 You're so right!!
It was a gleaming beacon of heaven itself until that Newsome guy came along and ruined everything!!!1!
I have visited South America a few times, the streets there are cleaner than LA in this video it's crazy how 4th world LA has become. I tell the locals about how dirty LA is and they do not believe me, I will show them this video now.
Well they most likely went to live in LA.
I'm from Brazil and this video reminds me of a place we call "cracolândia" (crackland) in São Paulo...
lol. do you know how big "L.A." is.
@@aSome1I was in São Paulo in 2022 , trust me cracolandia is cleaner than here. I was surprised how clean the streets of São Paulo are compared to Los Angeles
You say the same thing in every video
Reminds me of my months in Somalia
We need to bring back asylums
Mental asylums*
yup. thanks Reagan.
You're headed in that direction with that callus attitude.
@@SansolozLMFAO. LOL. GREAT ONE…
You won't solve anything in this garbage ass country
Grew up in front of Belmont High School crazy to see my old neighborhood and Alvarado st in just a mess. The 90s was something else but this is insane. Keep pushing young guns there’s a way out of that hole.
Went from violence to biohazard encampments
Our governments can send money to look after other countries but can’t help it’s own 🤦♂️ 🤦♀️
The money is not the solution.
This is an addiction and culture problem.
Totally agree but money will make this easier to change.
They've got money for drugs
How many miles does that car have on it now??? 🤔🤔🤔
1 million 😂
All of em
"Pardon me. I wonder if you can tell me how to get back on the expressway?"
You can see how much America cares for it's own people.
Capitalism: Zero Fux Given™
I used to visit my cousins apartment who lived off Alvarado. Back then it was bad, I see now how worse it’s gotten. It used to be a dangerous place to be if you don’t know anyone in the neighborhood, but now goin down there at night you are taking a huge risk. Props to you
Man this place wasn’t this bad ten years ago, not even close. Bad policies did this. And the lockdown during covid didn’t help. Though I guess that’s also a bad policy
This place has been this bad for decades, what?
It was still bad. Macarthur park always been bad.
You brave for driving down them alleys. You should do a walk thru of the Cecil Hotel on skid row.

My man Charlie seriously drove through the back alleys of LA to record content.
Be careful Charlie when you riding around scary places like that.
What the,,,, Escape from New York!
....escape from LA quavio will soon rule
This is just tragic. Complete and utter disregard of the environment.... like bro this your home!
That's some pass time you got there. Do you slow down to video at car accidents too? I like how you made sure to follow the screaming woman with her pants pulled down. Was she violated, attacked off to the right of the lens when she first started screaming? Just a part of the show.
My brother lived on Alvarado for a few years by McFent park. He's got some crazy stories to say the least
It's Mc Arthur Park not Mc Fent

Man I love these videos, what I chill out too 😎
Look at the rats, they're bigger than a cat. What are the cats going to do? Run!😂
the local street cats are in shambles 🤣
The cats are busy getting high.
I used to live a few blocks away from here 20 plus years ago. It was bad back then, can't believe its even worse now.
How dirty the streets have become.....😢
Great work Charlie! This is pathetic. This makes many of our rust belt cities look like Beverly Hills in comparison!
90% of this video is showing the sane 5 square blocks of Skid Row that countless other youtubers have shown adnauseam. It's a tiny fraction of Los Angeles. Lame.
Thanks Gavin Newsome 😢😢😢
Seriously, if he ever runs for president these scenes will loop in ads 24/7. It would be a landslide against him.
Lol as if
What?
Bro. Skid row has always been skid row. Learn about LA
@@usernamesrlamo if he runs for president we will see 1963 happen again, and it didnt end well for JFK did it? im surprised the people of California haven't done it already
1:10 fortunately there's still a vacuum cleaner available if needed
Newsome sent it to clean up the streets...🙃
This is Korea town it’s one of the worst places in LA I worked near McArthur one time and man it was horrible
I left SoCal in 2011. I cannot believe how bad the streets have become! There is now portable outhouses on the street?? With protection poles around it?? WTF is going on?! Just wow...Looks like the ol' Governor is doing a stand up job!
Charlie 👍💪💪💪 you sure get around bro. Thanks for the vids
Uggghhhh. 6th and Alvarado. I recognize that place. I used to work at the DPSS a block away.
Not sure if anyone caught this - dude at 1:16 was packing some heat in his right hand.
Scary. Is he guarding something?
around blacks, never relax
He's holding a can.
I am from eastern Europe, one of my dreams was to live in LA, or at least visit it, but I think I will chill now.
4:55 - I was a case manager down there for 2 years working with the homeless. They taught me more about life and its value than anyone else ever has besides our Sovereign Lord. Ask me anything.
What’s the deal with the situation? Do you think there’s anyway this gets solved. Seems like nothing is working. It was never like this when I was growing up.
Where’s mayor Karen Bass?
She was right there in the alley silly.
probably sitting by in a guarded mansion somewhere nearby collecting a check from israel and china like all the other democrats
THIS IS JUST WEST OF DTLA WHICH SECTIONS ARE SIMILAR IF NOT WORSE
"SKID ROW" HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR DECADES AND THIS IS PART OF IT
TRY SIXTH STREET NEAR CROCKER OR SAN PEDRO
You’ll never find something even close to this in the UK
Are you driving in a tank?
I grew up around this area.
McArthur park was never the best area but it had its charm.
It’s turned into skid row
And just think Florida looks like this all over the state.
Haven’t the streets of LA always been weird and scary at night??
The opening scene was near MacArthur Park at Wilshire Blvd. and Alvarado St. The google maps revealed that the alleyway looked worst than that in 2018. Hardly a small car could get through there.
Fr. The gangs were more rampant. More dangerous back then. But more crackhead bums now tho
I use to leave on s cerrano and mariposa in the 90s we walk the streets of downtown l.a never seen it like that i mean there was some homeless but this is sad😮!!!!!
While all tax dollars going to foreign countries like Israel which enjoy free healthcare for all ,,, just sickening I swear
Back in the early 2000s my mom and I used to love going shopping in downtown LA, the “callejones” as we call them, or the alleys. My mom grew up in east LA and had a really hard life, so back then my mom always taught us to carry cash in different parts of your clothes. Always carry your cross body bag and hold it close. That was back then. Now we donot even go there anymore. I have no interest In going there. Later on I worked for a concert promoter in DTLA in the early 2010s and it was become a shit hole then. My mom used to drive down skid row just to make us see the reality of what drugs and shit could do to you. Now you can’t drive 20 blocks in DTLA without seeing it.
you crazy for goin down that alley
This makes Kensington look like a suburb 😂😂😂
Charlie is fearless. Curious as to how others many ride with you or are you always solo?
Tbh this place isn't actually that dangerous unless you're a single woman. I'm a white guy and I would walk around here all the time casually in the hours of midnight-4am when I lived around here and was DJing illegal after hours warehouse parties in the area.
They mostly either have mental health or drug problems or both. But they aren't usually particularly threatening. Never attempted to rob me or mess with me 3+ years of living there.
