10:08 trust me , I've watched enough yuri shows to know that a 2 female main lead getting married (in anime) is extremely rare , in fact , I don't think I've seen any like that except G- witch
G Witch is so good, than even their worsts aspects are just mid, not terrible. Like the whole Jeturk siblings conflict was definetly forced but at least I got to see some amazing action scenes, animation and mobile suit designs. Most Gundam shows I've watch I consider good, but they are not consistently good, they tend to have big highs and lows. Although G Witch had little room to breath, it did an amazing job with the runtime it had, I'm glad the series was also hugely profitable.
It felt rushed in the end, or rather there are some plot points that appear out of nowhere. But the most important scenes, the best couple scenes are amazing. Their relationship is something i find very comforting. Which maybe strange to say but they are just so adorable together and their personalities click like a well made puzzle. The fights were a little bit disorienting but a great showcase of different terrain and abilities of pilots. Would like to see an OVA of thes universe
It's far from my favorite Gundam show, I do appreciate the show's storytelling, characters and animation. It really could've benefited from more episodes to delve more into some of the plotpoints they set up, it just felt like they exposited some critical info too close to the show's conclusion (e.g., the existence of the Calibarn Gundam, the sibling conflict, and more). The conclusion also felt way too 'space magic' heavy to me, though given the Gundam franchise I should've really anticapated some factor of space magic. Just got used to Gundam IBO, which is my favorite show. The ending was a tad too convinient with the Gundams being destroyed, Eri is somehow put into the keychain, Suletta's mother isn't incarcerated for the things she did (though, I suppose the Vanadis incident is probably enough punishment).
Congratulations on finishing your first (AU) Gundam show and I'm glad that you like/love it and it will stick with you. Now the question is: do you need to watch other Gundam shows? Well, if you already found the *one* Gundam show that you love & fully click with then my answer is: you most likely don't need to watch other Gundams, unless the theme & synopsis interest you. Most Gundam fans are always in search of "that one show which they can fully love", and you have found yours. That means your essential search is over & other Gundam shows can be secondary viewings that you may or may not need to watch. Alternate Universe (AU) Gundam shows themselves always offer themes & approach that's different from one another. One AU show can be about over-the-top hot-blooded fighting tournament (G Gundam), about global terrorism (Gundam 00), about genetic racism (Gundam SEED) or about gangster thug-life in space (Iron-Blooded Orphans), etc. Discovering different Gundam shows is always an adventure, if you so choose.
I'd very much not classify Seed as being about genetic racism, genetic engineering is the name of the game there, people aren't naturally born superior in the show, they're genetically engineered to be superior. The thoroughly arbitrary and pointless nature of the racism needs to be stressed here, I'd argue.
This might sound mean, but I'm so glad that the people who vehemently dislike this series are always just kinda insane lmao, or have just very obviously watched clips of the show on UA-cam without watching the show proper. There's criticisms to be had of the show absolutely, but the ones I usually see floating around are made up more often than not, Mio's mom never really having any flashback scenes or being hinted at being show at all outside of the opening is thoroughly a valid complaint to have, complaining about Calibarn disabling the big laser, something Gundams have been able to do for most of the series, not so much. Either way, amazing series, can't wait for Bandai to milk it. And they will milk it.

I, too, agree that harassing Suletta is punishable by DEATH!
My brain is forever altered by G-Witch.
Same tbh
WfM mind broke me. 10/10 show
