If anyone watching this back, what he's saying in this interview is pretty much the idea behind his music. Yes, he's like a "brand" now, but I really think that his songwriting is brilliant and everybody should notice that beside the viceroy hat and the blue jeans.
Pretty down to earth of him to say that he probably will only have "15 minutes of fame" but sort of sad at the same time. Well not terribly sad, but its interesting how quickly new artists get big and old ones are put on the back burner until new albums come out. On a lighter note I love all Mac's records and would love to see them play live in FL.

I get that in a way, I have a junky old Peavey that is always severely messed up no matter what I try, but it's what I learned on and what I evolved around, because of that, it is always comfortable and organic to play in a unique way
He's a creative and unique guy with tons of personality, so frequently talks in different tones/manners/styles. But, I'd never have guessed he was from Canada, then again I know more eastern Canadians than western. A few words, such as "bury" sound Canadian, but not overall. I'm intrigued.
