In research for a documentary project a group of us went to the Sunday market in Motueka, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and interviewed women about their indigeneity and what it means to be indigenous.
What emerged was a broad spectrum of explorations, from not identifying as indigenous to being a full yes to being an indigenous woman.
This is part of a film project we have embarked on and that will require funding. If you want to learn more or contribute, financially or with other resources, visit this website: indigenouswoman.mystrikingly.com
Overall Spaceholder: Julia Neumann
