I absolutely love this guitar. I have to say that Michael's playing in this video reminds me a bit of early Steve Vai, think 1984 Flex-Able era Steve Vai... songs like "Lovers are Crazy". I really dig his style of playing, he really puts that floating bridge to work.

plumbers tape. It's a thin, plastic, stretchy, tape that plumbers use to seal the threads on pipes so they don't leak when they screw them together.

Honestly I agree - huge turn off...especially on a $15,000 guitar. At least the cheaper model has it as a sticker so you can choose not to deface the guitar with it.
