If we stay objective despite our love and respect we can say that the Jacksons/Jacksons 5 were a good band mostly due to Michael incredible talent and charisma. Jermaine Jackson is an okay singer with no real charisma. One hell of a bass player though. Underestimated. Randy jackson is a good percussionist and can co-write, but a weak singer. So is Marlon. his voice is ok but no depth, soul or goosebumps factor right ? And let’s be honest, you watch him perform during the victory era and most of his performances and moves are limit laughable. Tito, good funk but the real presence onstage is definitely lacking. Jackie, well, not a solid singer, special voice maybe but that’s it. And don’t get me wrong: their harmonies were incredibly amazing. The can put on a good show and are professionals.
