Nami is almost certainly a princess. All we know is Bellmere rescued her and Nojiko from some war zone the world government declared war on, and Bellmere brought her and her sister home and retired from the Marines.

Yep. That's a thing. The reason Mihawk doesn't want to sword fight Shanks is because Shanks used to use Brooks sheath style swordsmanship. Can't do that with 1 arm. So whatever swordsmanship Shanks currently has he can't use the style Brooks uses.

I would actually argue for sanji. He is a smash for life for me.
He has a level head, very smart and intelligent (when he's not around zoro or women) during little garden; it was him who scouted the area out and even tricked crocodile himself resourceful. He wasn't creepy to pudding and actually treated her very kindly; he is extremely kind and compassionate, firm in his beliefs, most likely a great conversationalist, strong, attractive, and amazing cook. Even with his weirdness to women, I think he would be a very loyal partner
Sanji swaps back and forth between being a sex-pest for comedy purposes and being a cartoonishly exaggerated example of chivalry who chugs his respect women juice by the gallon.
I feel like the latter 'version' of him is the real canon one, and that when it's turned into outright sexual assault that's meant to be a dumb gag.
It doesn't make it at all cool or fine by any means, but for the purposes of analyzing his character arc and evaluating him from a narrative (as opposed to a comedy) standpoint, it makes me able to ignore his weird pervy tendencies.
And by that metric, Sanji would be the actual best husband in the entire world.
@Bakuhakudraws yeah... japan has a weird way of treating their female characters. I think oda really needs to work on what chivalry really means. It's not very chivalrous when you're creeping on women in baths
I've had this joke idea in my head for awhile where Sanji finally hooks up with a woman and he instantly loses his perverted tendencies. Like, he does the "they do" kiss with a woman and a spirit Sanji with heart eyes and his tongue out flies out of his mouth afterwards, disappearing into the nether
