I know it's kind of cliche at this point, but it's absolutely true lol. You give them unlimited rounds or do away with time limits period, they'd beat most guys in their respective divisions.
By far the best striking content out there. There's very few channels run by actual fighters, let alone a champion at the top. This is A class work! Thanks for the drills
At 6:35 what you are talking about is exactly how he tagged leon. His freaking muscle instinct twitch shit some how also followed that slap pop with a duck under leons punch like kindergarten sway. Unreal. Its a style all his own.
im so impressed! in my head i was like "what is he going to tell me that i dont already know" i wont be suprised if you get half a million subs with this series alone. please do yoel romero! he was able to freeze adesanya, something no other 85er in the ufc has done. whittaker would be an interesting video as well. those guys are incredibly tricky and had great fights with eachother and adesanya
can u make a similar video on Valentina Shevchenko please ?? Even though she was a muay thai champion her style has so many things different from typical muay thai fighters
I've always hated nate because he seems low class, but I've realized it's more of an affect and he is a great athlete regardless of how I feel. Also, when a high class guy like Gabriel can appreciate nate it shows me that nate deserves respect.
I think it would be hard to take breaks the way he does in kicboxing. Shorter rounds and more action would make it not only look strange, but probably be more dangerous as well.
You should make one on Giga Chikadze if you haven't already he's a fellow glory kickboxer and he's doing really good in UFC just KOd Cub Swanson might fight Yair to replace Max
@BONNEE MCGEE yeah its a shame cause the fight thompson did against diaz showed how much potential he had, if would have fought every fight the way he fought in the diaz fight he would have been a top guy but for some reason he never recreated a performance like that
Nick and Nate are both legit boxers. They've trained and sparred with some of the best over their careers, including Andre Ward. Had they gone into boxing in their primes, they could have been Champs. If Nate found Jake Paul he'd beat him. He might not finish him, but he'd definitely win the decision.
What makes Valtellini so good? What makes Volkanovski so good? What makes Hagler so good? (RIP) What makes fizaev so good? What makes Riddell so good? Just some suggestions....
Diaz haters are real I mean he’s not fighting the trash man he’s fighting the best only thing I always had a problem with his kicking and kicking defense more mass would not hurt
In my gym, if you don't keep the guard the coach might kick you in the nuts. lmao To complete with another sport is a good thing thus, I got college ice hockey, helped me not to worry too much about conditioning and cardio for MMA.
Nate's durability or toughness and his cardio and pressure are the things that make him really good
These "what makes (insert fighter's name) so good" are probably my favorite series on this channel.
The Diaz brothers never lose fights, they just run out of time.
I know it's kind of cliche at this point, but it's absolutely true lol. You give them unlimited rounds or do away with time limits period, they'd beat most guys in their respective divisions.
All right guys. This series is going to be sticking around.
I've got the next couple episodes planned but who should come next??
triple g please!
Anthony Joshua please!
Igor Vovchanchyn? I love his aggressive style and use of casting hooks
Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson
Wonderboy or Liam Harrison!
2:14 That CRISP sound of both whipping the jaw/ear with a surprising blow, all while taunting the opponent in one move. Magnificent.
By far the best striking content out there. There's very few channels run by actual fighters, let alone a champion at the top. This is A class work! Thanks for the drills
I watched Nate's first flight with McGregor, he rolls with the punch,
and never gives up.
Always great videos. Thanks.
Spot on
Seen nate diaz and liked immediately. Hes the reason I started training
Please give us what makes "Justin Gaethje so good" 🙏❤
It’s his no fucks attitude, thick bones, and respect for his opponents.
Crazy technical he's a natural talent in mixing grappling with striking.. he's one of the dude's that made me respect MMA as a sport
Nothing. Like the guy said above, the only thing he got is thick bones.
Cuz he be twerkin in a 3 point stance every wendsday evening
Brain Damage.
2:15
Idk why but the sound that it made and how casual he speaks while slapping it makes me laugh 😂😂😂
😂
haha its a solid sound
At 6:35 what you are talking about is exactly how he tagged leon. His freaking muscle instinct twitch shit some how also followed that slap pop with a duck under leons punch like kindergarten sway. Unreal. Its a style all his own.
Please do a video on Samart Payakaroon or Somrak!!!! And also the way they use boxing along with Muay Femur.
Yes Samart would be cool
There's no fight footage of samart in his prime. There's like one fight with dieselnoi where he lost the moral victory
This channel keeps getting better and better.
Straight g right here. Thank you friend
im so impressed! in my head i was like "what is he going to tell me that i dont already know" i wont be suprised if you get half a million subs with this series alone. please do yoel romero! he was able to freeze adesanya, something no other 85er in the ufc has done. whittaker would be an interesting video as well. those guys are incredibly tricky and had great fights with eachother and adesanya
He has high level jiu jitsu
I never expected a full tutorial on how to slap somebody, haha. Great video!
What makes Nate Diaz is exceptional is what he’s says and does outside the octagon
Wrong
Thank you man for the vid👊💪
Another great video! Love the Diaz brothers. Gabe, maybe time to get a mic and also 'normalize' audio in your editor.
Brilliant video, so in depth.
awesome perspective, definitely not something ive thought about when it comes to Nate and Nick taking punches
I would really like to see a video like this on Masaaki Noiri. Absolutely love watching that guy fight.
Nates 1, 2 is definitely the best in mma.
awesome! very good explained thanks!
can u make a similar video on Valentina Shevchenko please ?? Even though she was a muay thai champion her style has so many things different from typical muay thai fighters
that first slap sound cracked me up man hahaha
Amazing work man!
#DiazArmy4Life #TeamDiaz #TeamVarga 😊👊
Thank You for the waking.I was like wtf with Nate especially this last fight.I never considered mid round breaks.GREAT video
Dude thank you for the dedication to your videos man🤙🙏
Yes nick next homie
I love how tight Nates 1- 2 is, he's very good at breaking the rhythm, there is almost no space between his 1-2.
Mike tyson says the 1-2 sounds like one punch
Another great video champ.
Honest Gabe! Did you play baseball growing up? That analogy was spot on and your throwing technique looked practiced!
Amazing Video Champ
Can you please do Robert Whittaker and talk about his awkward lead left hook. Thank you and love the content!
Also Diaz spars and trains with Otis Griffin a boxing champ and coach who teaches open palm strikes. May be the origin of the "stockton slap"
Would love you to make one for Leon Edward.
Your videos are just brilliant. Thank you for your generosity in sharing all of this.
Naoya Inoue or Tenshin Nasukawa next please!!!!!!
Great content man!!! It is true that no one else talks about this things!!!
Great video
2:24 LOL I died when he smacked tf outta BOB (Also really enjoying the chapters, ease of access) :D
You can use the open hand slap to move the person's head into you straight punch also.
Great analysis! Thank you.
New sub great job glad I found you
Idk why but the sound of the first slap made me laugh 🤣.
Awesome information!
Great analysis. The mic could prob be better though.
Great series, man. And excellent breakdown with the improvements. Thank you , sir
On a serious note, what makes you so good? we want a video on that🤗
I finally signed up for a MMA class and I find out that I suck at boxing :))
I've always hated nate because he seems low class, but I've realized it's more of an affect and he is a great athlete regardless of how I feel.
Also, when a high class guy like Gabriel can appreciate nate it shows me that nate deserves respect.
Fantastic
He's fit against everybody at lightweight and welterweight from Khabib fan💪🏼
Hey Gabriel can u do one Mirko Crocop he has one was the best kicks in the sport love to his technic and drill them.
Thank u so much
Would love to see a video on Forest Griffon
Your take on his punches reminds me of Chuck Liddell's.
🔥🔥🔥
I think it would be hard to take breaks the way he does in kicboxing. Shorter rounds and more action would make it not only look strange, but probably be more dangerous as well.
Imagine if Nate learned how to kick and check properly
He's been in the game for a long time and still can't get it right. That's shows that he's quite bad.
@@boogeyman1016 he has a real focus on boxing and BJJ. More effective for back in the earlier days of mma, Muay Thai has taken over.
@@dontblink3042 I mean it's mixed martial arts for a reason. And no muay thai doesn't take over . No martial art will.
His check against Pettis fucked up Pettis' leg so bad it basically took his mobility for the rest of the fight.
You should make one on Giga Chikadze if you haven't already he's a fellow glory kickboxer and he's doing really good in UFC just KOd Cub Swanson might fight Yair to replace Max
Yes. I know Giga. He kept calling me out when I was GLORY champ.
Looks like he's doing very well in the UFC. Good for him.
#1 Cycling
Do Petr Yan, would de awesome
Can you make what makes rico verhoven so good
what makes jorge masvidal so good
What makes Leon Edwards so good?!
Please Cover Jonathan Haggerty Gabriel
you guys ever watch nate diaz vs josh thompson, thompson made nate look like an amateur in that fight
@BONNEE MCGEE yeah its a shame cause the fight thompson did against diaz showed how much potential he had, if would have fought every fight the way he fought in the diaz fight he would have been a top guy but for some reason he never recreated a performance like that
So run it back
@@kerpal321 that was his performance of a lifetime, any fighter is a world beater on their day

Poor Bob getting the Stockton treatment
😂
Stephen wonderboy Thompson next please

Korean Zombie next!!!!!
I would love to see you fight in the ufc before the the end of your fighting career 💪🏻
I doubt that it will happen he won't get a title shot at his age. Gabe should go to ONE FC
@@thomaskendell8146 nobody said anything about title shot
@@1x403 so what would he gain from the UFC?
Thomas Kendell money
@@TripleEightss Money? Yeah because UFC is known to pay their fighters what theyre worth right..
Can you do a review of the century bob XL
How about Naoya “the Monster” Inoue. The Bodyshot king.
yessss
Do one with sugar sean 0 mally
*Sugar Sean 1'mally
@@cmalilaywhite good one
Can you film it with Anissa Meksen, please

how does nate get his stockton slap out so quick?
Mike Tyson said make two punches sound like one
Looks like he took the advice to the heart

GSP next
please do lomachenko
Stamp fairtex and petch9 pls
5 Things that make Valentina Shevchenko so good
In my gym, if you don't keep the guard the coach might kick you in the nuts. lmao
To complete with another sport is a good thing thus, I got college ice hockey, helped me not to worry too much about conditioning and cardio for MMA.
Those unorthodox punch combos would not work against a fighter with good boxing skill that mooves his head would they?
Just like parrying and punching, theres generally a rhythm too when bobbing and weaving
Petr yan
Marijuana make him so good
I didin't realize he was good...
Ok, that was funny, ngl 🤣
Shift to your right as you slap... (pushes there weight onto their lead leg) you have a beautifulow kick they can't check out pull their leg away
Man had to show how to slap properly when all Nate did in his fights was a normal slap
Ahhh makes sense now why he gets cut above his eyes. His head is tucked
practice the slap on the bag.. lol :)
Smoking
i would say its his ability to take a punch... are a couple hundred of them...
