Thanks for this video. I purchased Piano Colors recently, intro sale offer, even though I had originally planned to get NOIRE!! Seeing this video underscores the fact that NOIRE will be another purchase, and quite soon, too!
Nice! Noire is my favorite piano that NI has so far. So I'm sure you'll be happy with it one day. Colors is fantastic too, so you're making all kinds of great choices!
im currently saving up from komplete 14 ultimate and doing my research about the included plugins and your videos are incredible, far better than anybody else's showcases as far as i've seen. thank you so much!
thanks for the very kind words. I'm glad this video could help a ton. That's what it's all about. NI has a big sale right now so it's a great time to pick something up.
@ThisIsOnesto yep, trying to pick it up before july 6th and was deciding between ultimate and collectors edition. im still hung up, mostly because of arkhis, but i dont think i really need collectors. it mostly depends on what i can afford by july 6th
i love hearing others favorite presets! more of this! your understanding and explanations are very personable & authentic. i feel like i just met you in a coffee shop happenstance and we got to chatting about music because i saw you with noire open or something. and now i learned something to take with me. much love~
Enjoyable and informative video, Onesto, thanks. I've had Noire for a while but have only started exploring it lately because I'm working on my second album and need a piano sound that will work for all tracks. Noire might be it!
Hello ! Thanks for this video, however I have tried the preset Gentle Dark that I really like when you play it but sounds totally different when I try it myself. Did you make any change in the preset? If so, could you tell me what you did? Thanks a lot!!
Hey! Thanks for watching. From what I can remember, all the demos are using what's inside Noire. I think the only thing I added in post was a compressor and limiter. I will say though that in the presets themselves, I usually adjust the dynamics knob, I think I move it to the left so that there's less dynamics?? And I also make sure that the velocity curve is not steep but rather shaped so that I can play softly but the piano will still play in the higher velocities.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I'm pretty sure Noire can be used in Garageband. Here's a vid that'll help show you how to load up Kontakt Libraries (what Noire is) inside of garageband.
@@ThisIsOnesto Thank you very much. That’s a great help. Really love the sound of Noire. I’m learning I Gionri by Ludovico Einaudi. I have a Roland fp60 which has a usb to host port so I’m hoping Noire should work ok with Garage Band. All the best and thanks again 👍
Nice you're gonna really love Noire. I still want to melt when I use it! Oh and next week I'll be showing off a new piano suite that's ridiculously good too. You might want to buy that one too haha...
Hey! I actually have Emotional Piano, and I think Noire is the better VST. I think the sample quality and versatility, especially with the Felt and Pure pianos inside Noire is top notch.
Great video as always. It makes me want to dig deeper in this plugin. Amazing editing as well! PS. As a designer: What font did you use for the title slides/right hand side? 😄
Hey thanks for sharing those kind things! Right now I'm only using one font family called Graphik. I forget if it's an Adobe or Google font or how I got it. But it's a good neutral looking font.
Hey one more question. I was thinking about this new Piano VST. It’s called AIR stage piano. I would love for you to do a review on it. I’m still thinking if I should get the Noire or the AIR stage piano. I’ve used AIR a while ago but I still don’t know. There is a free trial for 10 days on there so you can try it for free. But noire and the full AIR stage piano are the same price. And one last thing, thank you for responding with my last comment. Everytime I comment on other peoples videos, they don’t respond.
That’s a good question. I haven’t gotten around to the AIR Stage Piano and haven’t heard anything about it so I can’t help you there. All I know is that Noire is fantastic piano, especially since you get access to a Pure and Felt Grand. And thanks for commenting. I try to get to as many of these as possible. Might take me a few days but there’s a good chance I’ll respond.
HEAVY FELT sounded like you just put a SATURATION Plug-In on IT! ?... Thank for dong this VID. I own YAMAHA CP4 (CFX Stage Piano ) & Roland FANTOM 7 w/ " V PIANO" so I ok but always looking for better!!! So Grandeur & Noire stood out the best oout of MOST VST's!!! George Amodei
Heavy Felt does has some tasty and heavy saturation on it! The saturation is available inside Noire, so need for another plugin. Grandeur and Noire are both great pianos, but I think Noire is always going to steal the show. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video and the full list. Still usefull 3 years later. All the best !
Of course, it’s always great hearing that these videos could be a helpful resource. Thanks again for watching.

Hey fellow producer 🫂, thanks for watching! Get NOIRE here: bit.ly/noire-onesto

Thanks for watching! Noire is still such a good piano plugin. I think you'll be really happy with it. The pure and felt pianos cover a lot of ground.
Thanks it sounds really great! Where did you download all thoses custom presets ?
Thanks for watching, glad you like the video! I believe all the presets in the video are stock presets inside of Noire.
Nice review!
Hey thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

I have the same issue! For some reason they sound way better in this video than when I use them, haha. Did you ever solve it?
Awesome vid, Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching, are you thinking of picking it up?
Hi great vid, just wondering can noire be used in Garage band as that's the only DAW i have?

Hi, Noire - Nils Frahm plugin Is it compatible with Garageband?
Yes it is! You would access Noire by using Kontakt from Native Instruments.
Stick around and make more videos please . Thank you
That's the plan. I just want to keep helping others producers
Just missed the sale too..fml
Dang that sucks. NI has tons of sales, so you shouldn't have to wait too long.
If you teach how to play the piano, I believe you will have more subscribers
.
I never considered making a how to play piano video. That's something I really need to consider.
Thanks for the recommendation!
