The reason why I ask you to do this is not because of the crazy/wacky fighting or the deep narrative. But to see how crazy "human" these characters are and there emotions/story arcs. So my favorite character in Yakuza is not the main character Kazuma Kiryu. Even though he is a close second! My favorite character is Akiayama one of the main characters from the fourth installment Akiyama was once a bank accountant and then one day got accused of stealing the Yakuzas money. He had no idea what they were talking about and they fired him anyways. After losing his job he lost his girl and I think his boss started dating her if I remember correctly. And he becomes homeless for a certain amount of time. But then one day a big event happens (Spoilers). And he is able to rebuild himself get back on his feet. And becomes a Loan shark, but has a policy...(Spoiler). His new character and new moto is to help people with money. Because he knows that if you have good decision making and having the right amount of money. You can pick yourself back up from any rut. (I'm not going to tell too much more because then we will get into spoiler territory and I still don't want to give away too much of his character and story). But his arc is that he was betrayed by somebody very close to him. And now he wants to know if it was the right decision to trust him. If his instincts are any good at all and if he should trust in himself or people anymore. Because apart of his job is to figure out if the people he meets are right to give money too. And if they have the means to rebuild themselves like he once did. He soo human and it astounds me. That the game makes ALL the main characters so human. Like Kiryu, Majima, Yagami, Ichiban, Tanimura, even Saejima and Shinada have these great moments and arcs as characters! So please...PLEASE make a honest gaming history about Kiryu from the Yakuza series from Yakuza 0 to 7 (and Judgment). I know you will enjoy it. Side Note# You dont have to play the first two games on playstation 2. They remade them and called them Kiwami and Kiwami 2. And they remastered 3 to 5. I recommend you start with Yakuza 0.
