I don't understand why LK is so upset. They gave him the ability to hit his items, which he already has to spend time throwing out, and they're random, so you might not even get one that this new mechanic benefits from. I feel like afro and minifaust are the only items this is useful for. You could already bat hammers with 5D and hit bombs with anything, you probably won't be able to hit weight or meteors, hitting banana peels seems useless and hitting food or trumpet at your opponent is actively bad for Faust. It's such a niche ability. If it allows for some new combos then it might be useful, otherwise it's even less useful than item eat. This is such a minor buff compared to what some others got. It's very much them "letting him be ass".
