Unscrew spark plug and lay it on top of the engine, leave everything else connected on the ignition. Now try cranking, and watch the spark plug, it should spark regularly as the engine is turning over, as the plug tries to spark the gap between it and engine cover.
Or the easy way, just use a timing light. The light will strobe as the motor turns over, as the engine rotates and the spark plug receives signal to fire. It should strobe regardless if engine is running, either method you try, if the spark plug is firing.
If no strobe from the light, I would just work backwards: Make sure spark plug is good, then plug wire, then ignition module, from then I think is the pcm engine computer 🤔
I have one of these in the yard now, 2008 rancher es Fuel Injection but researching first, have not worked on it yet.
