I have the less tactical version. On top of the reliability, good price point, reasonable, accuracy, economical ammo, etc... The rifle just has class! Fun to shoot too!
Innovation armoury now makes CZ mag well adapters for this PCC. I have been using them for over a month and they work very well. I have had FTE & stove pipes but that is most likely an extractor problem. On The Ruger PCC it's a known issue. I've since installed the MCARBO extractor and will be trying it soon at the range.
Light stocks are advisable over bulky butt stocks for these nimble pistol caliber carbines. Scorpion, French SMG, Beretta SMG, Kel-Tec, etc, are impeccable with regard to light butt stocks.
On average, I get about 200fps faster velocities with 9mm out of a carbine rifle, than a handgun. So it does make the 9mm more potent. It’s an awesome predator hunting carbine. I’m decimating coyotes with 115gr Winchester white box hollow points out of that rifle.
This one is mounted that way because the barrel is removable from the receiver. Mounting it This way will ensure consistent accuracy. Provided you run the same ammo you zero it with lol.
Like you I mounted my HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight on the BARREL PIC RAIL, not the receiver. This mounting point retains zero after repeated take-down cycles for cleaning. -> BTW, replace the RUGER extractor with an MCARBO extractor. Being machined from hardened tool steel it will last much longer than the stamped RUGER extractor. The accurate RUGER cold hammer forged barrel is a beautiful piece and will last much longer in a PCC than a button or cut rifled barrel. As well the factory trigger is quite good and not heavy like the CZ trigger. Yeah, this chassis PCC is heavy and homely but it is definitely DURABLE and eats all kinds of ammo regardless of the case metal. Kinda like a homely girl that's great in bed.
Dave, I added an MCARBO buffer plate, mag release button, mini brake, bolt pins, TANDEMKROSS recoil spring, TACCOM mag well extension and ambidextrous safety levers (replaces the clumsy RUGER safety button), *** and I added a MAGPUL 1/4" high cheek piece that merely snaps on the supplied MAGPUL stock to raise my eye and align it with the circle/ dot AEMS sight. You may want a thicker cheekpiece and MAGPUL has them too. "Happiness is a 1,000 round box of 9 mm ammo!" 🤟@@davemaximillion5501
The sight is holding zero. Its moving ever so slightly because you have it too far up on a detachable part. Needs to be as far forward yet still attached to the receiver.
I appreciate it. Thank you for watching. I'm still a work in progress as far as filming the firearm. I will remember your suggestion and make sure I do better next time.
@@davemaximillion5501 your very welcome. I ❤️ the gun and own four of them. Here’s some more good stuff for you with that rifle. I highly recommend the below items and if you watch the accompanying short videos, you’ll understand why. 99.9% of the time I am NOT an aftermarket person. Never have been. But the upgrades listed below are a huge “must” for the Ruger PCC: Love this gun! I’ve been telling everyone on different channels about some mods that I believe to be absolutely MANDATORY to replace and easily install with this rifle. (No, I am NOT associated with either company I’m about to plug below. I’m just sharing good info for fellow PC Carbine owners and to make that gun RELIABLE for just a few bucks): #1. If you value your GLOCK magazine longevity while using the Ruger PCC and you want them to last, one MUST replace the all steel magazine catch the rifle comes with. The metal one wears out the magazine “lip” on the polymer “skin” of Glock magazines. Replace it with the CROM polymer mag catch. Watch this video to explain why: ua-cam.com/video/jQ09TelQuEQ/v-deo.html #2 and #3. The Ruger factory extractor, extractor pin and bolt head pins absolutely suck. They’re made of mild (soft) steel and wear out quickly. Replace them all with the MCARBO A2 Tool Steel “exact edge extractor” and “bolt head pin kit.” Watch here and learn. It makes all the difference and no more FTE’s: ua-cam.com/video/m-jBzTEu5nY/v-deo.html #4 and #5. The Ruger recoil retaining clip is cheap thin plastic. I think it must have been made by the old PEZ candy dispenser company. Replace it with MCARBO’s stainless steel version. Also replace Ruger’s weak shock buffer with MCARBO’s genuine recoil shock buffer. The below video shows some extra power recoil springs and such that MCARBO no longer produces and frankly, those are not needed. Just watch the video for the parts where the shock buffer and retaining clip is discussed: ua-cam.com/video/U3gZpgB3ffI/v-deo.html #6. Finally, this is NOT “needed,” but after I installed it, I thought “how on earth did i manage without it!??? It allows two fingers to grip and pull the bolt back, instead of one finger with the Ruger factory handle. MCARBO’s is an awesome machined-smooth charging handle. It’s worth every cent!!!! ua-cam.com/video/-uKhVzz9DmY/v-deo.html Recap: The two most CRITICAL items one MUST REPLACE and upgrade to are the CROM magazine catch and MCARBO’s exact edge extractor. Everything else is a personal choice but highly recommended!

Yes mos definitely 👍
I got the .45 PCC as a suppressor host. Ammo rated at 900 fps in a pistol is still subsonic even if it goes up to 225 faster in a PCC.
Very nice! I bet it's pretty quiet.

Thats good info to have. Thank you.

Sweet! I will look into them. Thank you.

Thats pretty cool 😎
That red dot is pretty far forward. You may want it mounted on the receiver and not the handguard. It will likely hold zero better if there.
Sounds good 👍 I'll give it a try. Thank you.
Can it be fired without the magazine?
I don't know, I didn't try that.
Yes
Very nice informative video.... 164 like
Thank you, I appreciate it.
@@davemaximillion5501 Wish I could purchase one for under $700. I'm searching all over.
I have the flag camo version and love it. Great accuracy and so much fun to plink with.
Yes that's for sure! And reliable.
When r u getting the FOLDING STOCK OPTION? 😮
I'm not going to. Just doesn't really interest me.
Why do people mount there optics so far forward? I keep mine mounted on the reciever.

Holds zero. You don't have to bend your neck awkwardly if you run the rifle with the stock in the shortest position.
Feels to short then. Uncomfortable, I like to be able to stretch my support arm out.
Great vid. Love the bloopers 😂
Thank you! I appreciate it.
tandenkross makes a green spring for that fte problem
Sweet, I'll check it out. Thank you.

Lol, "Homely girl" well said. I've definitely been thinking about getting some Mcarbo upgrades. Heard alot of good things about them.

Believe it's better on the barrel.
@johnkoenig496 yes, that's what I'm thinking also.
Nice video wish u would hav done a little better on closeups

Would critical defense ammo work on this gun ?
I'm not sure. Mine only likes 40 grain round nose ammo. If I had to guess I would say probably not reliably.
Your video may be great but the volume is in and out. Hard to follow.
Ok thank you. I need to get a better microphone for better sound quality. Thank you for watching.
Just paid 1300 here in Canada
Wow! It's pretty hard to own a firearm up there though isn't it?
BTW , some are running dual charge handles….
Look into the tandemkross addons for it.
Thank you, will do.
MCARBO “Exact edge extractor”. Made from A2 tool steel…. You’ll never have a failure to extract again in that rifle. Thank me later.
Outstanding! Thank you for that info. I appreciate it.
