He didn’t get caught lying, there’s some miscommunication either on his part of the explanation or how the judge is interpreting it. He’s trying to tell her he didn’t attempt to CROSS the street, that he moved onto the street to run parallel with the flow of traffic. He tries to explain he was hugging the cement rollers and she hit him from behind. His theory ‘ that’s why I was hit from behind and not the side, that’s why the back of my head hit the windshield not the side of my face, because she didn’t hit me CROSSING the street, she hit me from BEHIND as I was running with the flow of traffic’. Maybe it’s illegal for him to be in the street either way, I dunno. The judge didn’t do a good job of cross examining in my opinion. She says her passenger side mirror was damaged, did that happen from him getting hit and rolling off the car? ( that would support her explanation, if he had room to slide off and still have enough room to go off the side of the car ). Did that happen because she was too close to the cement rollers, hit him and bumped one( that would support his theory of hugging the rollers)
I think that is truly what happened. If the windshield looks like that, he might have hit his head. He just didn’t want to take responsibility for his actions.
I think what he was trying to say was that he was running on the outside of the cement rollers because he wouldn't have been able to cross safely if he was at the cross walk, but also sounds like he could've hit his head and his recollection isn't all there. I'm not saying he's right but he must've gotten a concussion on some sort.
What's sad is that as a runner most like to run on the mostly smooth asphalt where on the sidewalk u constantly have to look down for cracks and defects. He was wrong. I'm glad he lived to tell his tale.
I was hit by a car while in a crosswalk last year. I don't remember anything about the accident. On the police report it says that I told the cops I didn't look both ways. I don't remember any of that. I had severe head damage
This should be shown in every classroom in America because I lived in an area where people would crotch down between parked cars and throw themselves into oncoming traffic under the belief the pedestrian has the right of way, and they can make bank from lawsuits. Little do they know that's not how that works. Glad he's doing alright and not in a wheelchair.
Years ago on college campus, my friend and I were at a stop light waiting to turn left. It was 3 lanes and there was a crosswalk for students. 2 men proceeded to walk between the front of our vehicle and the car in front, and not look both ways when trying to cross. One guy crossed but the other dashed out and a car hit the side of him, as the car tried to steer right (onto the crosswalk), and the jogger tried to dart back left. He kept walking, even though my friend and I screamed and the car had almost hit the light post and got out his car. My friend felt like the man didn’t stop for help because he didn’t have medical insurance. You don’t run into traffic without checking if it’s clear. The car had the right of way, as their light was still green.
I've noticed in many cases, judge Milian talks over people and won't let them finish speaking. She's been wrong on several verdicts, especially cases involving auto repair.
In my town, a stretch of the sidewalk was closed off because the town was remodeling an old postal office. It took them nearly a year to finish it. People would walk in the street to get past and hug the concrete barriers that they put up. It was fine at first because we would be walking in the sections where there was street parking instead of where the cars were actually driving (the barracades were partially covering the street parking, so no one could park there). The town wanted people to stop walking around it, so they moved the barriers further out to cover all of the street parking lane. Real kicker was that they put up one sign on the first barrier telling pedestrians to use the other sidewalk with an arrow pointing across the street. The crosswalk to get over there was, of course, beyond the sign and blocked by concrete barriers.
I get what he was trying to say. He didn't cross the street he was running beside the trucks parked in the bike lane on the side of the street and says he got hit from behind. Problem is the police report says he tried to cross the street. Not sure if his story is true but once i had a accident and the police report said they talked to me and said i was feeling funny and had to sit down. which was not all true. Before they even got a chance to talk to me i felt ill and sat down and ended up passing out. Everybody was asking if i was all right and have no idea what the cop was doing but he never said anything to me or ask any questions. I told him i was not feeling good and went to the hospital to get check. I thought the cop would later asked my side of the story but never did.
He is so dense...even after the verdict. He needs to take responsibility for his action....not I was hugging the corner.... or....I was just in the street for 10 seconds. You are wrong!!!!!
He wasn't clear but I think I understood him, he was trying to say that the trucks were in his pedestrian lane so he was running along them to go around the trucks.. clearly he hit his head and suffered an injury but its unfortunate he wasn't able to explain himself clearer.
I love it when they read the police report , the first report fresh on the night. Judge Judys good at that too with her complaint that they’ve sworn to 👏😆
As a driver, one of my biggest pet peeves is the fact that many joggers don’t seem to realize that they’re pedestrians. I think it’s nice that they’re getting excercise, but that doesn’t give them a right to run into the street whenever and wherever they want, just like a person who’s walking can’t all of a sudden run into the street whenever and wherever they want.

@@Moises-kf1hg no one is reading that & i said what i said.
@@JasmineChantel if I was looking for any feedback from you, I would have tagged you 👍
@@JasmineChantel I read it. He makes a good argument. The defendant was poor at articulating
I think he smashed his head on her windshield and received memory loss from an untreated head injury.
The Defendant is like a 🐈 and has 9 lives but has used a few up !
Lol!
That boy hit his head so hard he don't remember wtf happened.
I think that is truly what happened.
If the windshield looks like that, he might have hit his head.
He just didn’t want to take responsibility for his actions.
The punk doesn't seem to get the hint. GET OUT OF THE FING ROAD!!!!!
Unless you get hit on a sidewalk or crosswalk, you’re wrong. This guy is almost as self-righteous as a cyclist.
Pun intended?
Dude definitely was concussed lol
I can’t be the only one wishing there was a video of him running and bouncing off that car like it was nothing 😂
He got Froggered.
Defendent "Justice system failed me man"..
No JUSTICE WAS SERVED!!!
I hope this boy doesn’t run out in the street again. He needs some milk.
🤭😝🤣💀
he said the justice system failed him lol
Defendant: I was in the street for 10 seconds
Me: 😐 bruh this is not helping you
Also me: that was a Hell of a concussion 🤕!
People’s court is the only court show I will watch
Judge Judy and Judge Faith are pretty good as well. I love the female judges👩⚖️
That’s so sad
Me too.
What's sad is that as a runner most like to run on the mostly smooth asphalt where on the sidewalk u constantly have to look down for cracks and defects. He was wrong. I'm glad he lived to tell his tale.
Judge Mathis
I was hit by a car while in a crosswalk last year. I don't remember anything about the accident. On the police report it says that I told the cops I didn't look both ways. I don't remember any of that. I had severe head damage
His lies were "perpendicular" We'll see him again. When he runs for President.
He will say I didn't run for president haha
This should be shown in every classroom in America because I lived in an area where people would crotch down between parked cars and throw themselves into oncoming traffic under the belief the pedestrian has the right of way, and they can make bank from lawsuits. Little do they know that's not how that works. Glad he's doing alright and not in a wheelchair.
Crouch?
Those people aren’t in school lol
That kid is very arrogant
The way they referred to it as "my skeleton" 🤣🤣🤣
3 mins in. She sounds RIDICULOUS!!! This man ran into her CAR??? Running???
JUSTICE SYSTEM FAILED ME MAN!!!!!!! That is YOUR OPINION little boy.
That big as whole in her window🤪that dude flinched just thinking about that pain. That ninja knows he had a concussion and a three day headache
Its comform that Im addict to court shows now
Same here! lol
Yep
I luv court shows Judge M, Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, Judge Toler, Judge Faith ect...
😂😂 he tried to swindle his way out of this 1!! Famous saying is “look both ways before u cross the street”
How do you run sideways and hit the front windshield ?? The plaintiff is suspect herself.
NO HARVEY. Pedestrians DO NOT have the right of way except at intersections/crosswalks.
He’s slow…🥴
The defendant is what happens when parent’s believe everything their kids tell them and then they are adults
I've noticed in many cases, judge Milian talks over people and won't let them finish speaking. She's been wrong on several verdicts, especially cases involving auto repair.
Agree
Pedestrians: YOU NEVER HAVE RIGHT OF WAY IN THE ROAD....GO TO A CROSSWALK AND WAIT.
OTHERWISE YOU RISK DEATH.
Defendant: "The justice system failed me."
JFC, dude, you admitted you were in the street. You lost like you should've. Deal with it.
He is so dense...even after the verdict. He needs to take responsibility for his action....not I was hugging the corner.... or....I was just in the street for 10 seconds. You are wrong!!!!!
I think the way Douglas rubs his hand at 7:15 is so funny for no reason 😂
But didn't the driver have insurance that covered her damages?
I guess this is another way to make a quick buck is to lie in court like the plaintiff 🤷♂️
He don't even remember talking to the cops sooo maybe he did hit his head.🤕
He wasn't clear but I think I understood him, he was trying to say that the trucks were in his pedestrian lane so he was running along them to go around the trucks.. clearly he hit his head and suffered an injury but its unfortunate he wasn't able to explain himself clearer.
he said they were in the bike lane, he wasn't riding a bike he was running
Legend has it she still hasn't let him finish his story.
the young man was just trying to walk around the cement truck not crossing the street! she wouldn't listen to him trying to tell her that though!
How fast was he running for the car to be STILL and for her car to have that much damage? I don’t get it
When " I broke a butt cheek" (Next Friday movie) became real!😂😂😂😂😂
I luv everything about JM, she is smart, beautiful, funny ect...
Wow!! The judge can’t even let anyone finish their sentence! 😖She’s asking questions (and even answers the questions for them). 🤦♀️GEEZ!
You always have the option of watching millions of other shows.
@@kietero I was referring more to the plaintiff!
That's why he doesn't remember talking to the police because he hit his big head on the window. Lol
This boy could have been killed, he needs to be glad all he has is memory loss and a bill. That snotty attitude says a lot about how he probably goes through life.
I seriously doubt he will learn from this
Raise your 👋 if your ♥️ skips a beat every time the judge steps off the bench.
... " 👡"
If you know you know 😂😂😂
I can see every hobo in Salem oregon using this exact excuse...."how dare they not see me as I jaywalk and dart into traffic"
