Subaru X-Mode demonstrated on Crosstrek and XV

Subaru have an X-Mode in their later vehicles which recalibrates the electronics for offroad performance. In this video I demonstrate the difference with X-Mode on and off using an XV (Crosstrek) and Forester Hybrid.

Sadly, the Subaru AWD system is pretty average.
I can diagonal my LR with 2 wheels off the ground and just drive off. TC works within ⅛ of a wheel rotation. And no need to change any modes to traverse that terrain the Forester did. Just drive it.

Wow, that was crap. They would've been better off putting lsd's in both axles. If you can't create a system that performes better than an lsd then you shouldn't be making 4wd cars.
Abs pulled with 2 clicks of handbreak and a BRZ will never spin one wheel on a loose surface, even if it's in the air.
