Subaru X-Mode Explained

One of the questions I get asked the most by customers is , "What is X-Mode, and why would I use it?".
X-Mode has been around in Subarus since 2015, but it has been tweaked and enhanced over the years to be even more useful than before.
Now, on certain Subaru's like this #Crosstrek #Wilderness, there is a Dual-Function X-Mode with Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes.

I have outback 2024 premium but only has xmode normal, how good is it??

I totally understand. What It is, is an over ride of all the other bull s+;&$ that they thought they would sell you . This way you don’t have to learn to drive the vehicle like we did in the 1960’s. It’s a lot like just letting the vehicle drive itself. Very stupid. I’m not jealous as I happen to own 2 Subaru’s with it .
