The way Josh just remembers when workouts were and their rep schemes for the games or any competition is always impressive.
I'm actually fine with y'all NOT putting one out weekly. A lot of stuff to talk about from the past couple of weeks.

One of 2 things happened with Mat’s bank account. 1) Castro hacked it to make him come back to the CF Games. 2) NoBull hacked it to cover the CF Games prize purse. 😂

Josh is completely right about the granite games. And Kristi Eramo, in my opinion, was directly effected by that. Anything longer, she would have crushed. (I get it, "so what", but Granite Games was not well rounded programming)

NNNNOOOOOOOOOO!! Don't EVER bank with Bank of America. OMG!!!! I know so many people that have had trouble or have lost money. I lost $2000 in fees in 6 months with them. Drop them like a bad rock Man.
Agreed, worst bank ever. After our bad experience it seemed like everyone had a story about them.
I will be honest, I initially started watching the podcast out of boredom. But I have to say, I am looking forward to this now days. Super cool Podcast and keep at it!

As a compliance analyst , I tell probably what happened matt , because didn't use your debit card and didn't pay much from the account and the deposits kept coming your transactions were qualified as suspicious. So now basically they are investigating if you are laundering Money or not
In simpler terms
Opening multiple businesses at the same time + large deposits = red alert for money laundering from the bank perspective
@@elyesbennani8011 Yeah, from a policing perspective, I can see that his activity looks suspicious. I can see why they won't disclose their suspicions, but if they told him he could probably provide documentation to prove it is legit.

Just a heads up, Josh, you can extend filing your taxes but that doesn’t extend the due date of what you owe. Taxes are due April 15 even if you extend to October. Waiting until October to pay results in penalty/interest.
Ross Edgley, is a beast! He swam round the GB in 6 months, climbed the height of Everest in rope climbs, did a triathlon with a log on his back and pulled a car for a marathon. The later where all done in the same year

Yeah he conveniently left out that detail. And even went as far as to proclaim that there's no better organization to donate to than CrossFit affiliates.
Usain Bolt has a longer acceleration phase and can hold his top speed much longer too, while the other guys decellerate earlier. He also has a way longer stride length.
He's a unicorn that he can still accelerate with his long legs, he takes 5 less strides than his best competitors over the course of 100m. That's insane.

Josh, you get an extension to file your tax return. There is no extension for paying taxes due.
Right there with you guys on teens and masters. I wonder why they even hold them during The Games. You don’t see Juniors and Seniors compete at the Olympics. Same with football, baseball, basketball and soccer. It feels like they lumped everyone together in 2010 to get the community out to the Games but those divisions have run their course. Individuals and teens should stand on their own.
I’m sure it’s a money thing. It’s not worth it to have a separate date because a lot less people would be watching or would even want to go.
@@dellerbe11710 exactly! Why bother having all the extra expense if nobody cares to show up to watch? They are literally bleeding revenue to be inclusive? Sorry but that is a recipe for failure. Nobody has or ever will show up to masters or teen comps but family and friends. No way that works financially. CrossFit needs to peel off teens and masters and create a separate event for families. Sorry to anyone offended but Masters are no where nor will ever be anywhere close to Individual level. Those that can still compete remain in the Individual division. Teens are improving but anyone worth their salt is moving up to Individual as we speak. If you are a contender for The Games, there is a division for you regardless of age. We see it with Sam Briggs as well as Mallory O’Brien. So what do we have? Two divisions of competition that are nowhere close to Games level athletes. So CrossFit HQ can go two ways:
1. Farm out teens and Masters to promoters like The Masters Collective
2. Create a separate event for teens and masters run under Games name
When I made this recommendation on the Masters Facebook page many of the athletes pushed back because they believe they should share the stage with individuals. They are living a fantasy that their lifts and times do not back up. Nobody will show up to see some 50-year old guy do a Games workout 3 minutes slower than the Individuals did. Even if the workout is “impressive for his or her age” it does not matter. The Games should be about finding the fittest man and woman in the world period. “For their age” does not count.
Sorry for the rant JMS, I am just tired of delusional masters athletes that think they are worthy of sharing the stage with Games athletes. If they are that good, they can try and qualify as Individuals.
Mat will come out of retirement and Justin and him will be the CrossFit version of Rocky 5. “I ain’t hear no bell”
Mat is never coming out of retirement, I'd be willing to bet a couple of grand on that. His retirement was too conveniently timed and knowing Mat's "competitive" nature I think there's far more to this story than will ever be publicly shared...

I have no idea who it is but Cole Sager would make sense. In an interview he said he went into CrossFit to build a following to help more people. Something in that realm. It was a few years ago.
