Good luck with the Mull trip - brilliant place. On the Mull Charters outing, I'd heard that a monopod would be a waste of time because you would pick up all the vibration from the boat's engine?
Hi Adam, love your work as a photographer and also thank you for all the information you give on YT, always helpful! I just wanted to ask about the RolanPro lens coat, I bought one for my Sony 100-400 lens, however I had to return it. When added to the lens extended (at 400mm) the cover that uses velcro on that particular element, blocked the lens to zoom back in (to 100mm) Am I missing something or doing it wrong? Unless there are different covers. I've spent 90 quids on that and was suprised that that happened. Thank you as always.
Thanks for your message. As is the same with any lens coat, the section that the lens extends is only intended to be added if the lens remains extended. It will not, regardless of whether it is RolanPro or any other make, allow the lens to be contracted whilst that section of cover is still in place. I hope that this helps clear things up. Thanks for your support, Adam
@@adamjuckesphoto thanks, Adam for your quick reply and helpful comment. It is in fact as I suspected then. I probably will stick to the raincoat I have, a bit bulky but allows me to zoom in and out. The RolanPro was really good quality indeed.
Great tip about the lithium batteries, hope you have a great and successful trip.
Thank you so much 👌🏻
Very informative video. Thank you very much and I am looking forward to the Mull footage.
Pleasure, thank you 🙏🏻

That is 100% true 👍🏻
