I literally talked every Act 2 boss into it except Balthazar. After the 4th one, Gale said “You’re kinda terrifying right now.” Can’t blame him. He just watched his preternaturally charismatic girlfriend talk four powerhouses into ending themselves.
Bards according to people who barely play D&D: Ha ha funny lute man sex up dragon Bards in actual D&D: I exterminated every last remaining member of the noble Thorm bloodline without ever laying a hand on any of them.
its not just this one, there are many good soundtrack that are not released like ketheric ost, cazador ost etc. I dont understand why are they doing this lol
@@omer-dm8qi The combat theme you hear in Moonlight Towers and also always plays exactly in your first fight of the game with the Imps is also missing. This one and that one are my favorite. Weird.
@@omer-dm8qi Pretty much every single video-game OST release skips a large portion of the soundtrack, and the tracks that are released are remixed and not quite how they were presented in-game. It's an infuriating habit of the industry.
I love the options in this game, nobody really has the same run! On my end, his nurses took themselves out and then he did himself in with some convincing.
If I had a nickel for every time a pompous long lived elf with pale skin attacked me with their own damn violin lead orchestra backing them for their boss fight I'd have 2 nickels... which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice
@@pixlisreal _undead_ long lived elf with pale skin* it's even better if you think that Astarion literally says Malus Thorm is "Utterly insane, he's just like Cazador!"
The Thorm's nepotism on full display when not only do you find mostly their entire family in positions of authority or privilege, but also Kethric made sure to spare them in a hideous way when he started the shadow curse. No doubt that a lot of the message with Reithwin is that despite being a Selunite at first, Kethric, and likely the entire theocratic institution, was either corrupt or easily corruptable from day one.
Personally got like a Silent Hill or Bloodborne vibe. The shadows, the nurses, his tone and the way he spoke. Probably the coolest boss in terms of presentation.
I think it's more funny to convince him to tell his nurses to kill one another and then ask him to show how you're to properly kill yourself. Him demonstrating by plunging his own blade into his face still makes me giggle.
When this song played was the moment I decided screw shar, it perfectly showed the corruption scale go out of control in this region. So evil I love it!
Honestly I bet before the Shadowlands and Shar, I bet this guy and the nurses were very good, and Malus was a brilliant surgeon. Shar however twisted him and his nurses, and he just became an evil killer. Essentially you can pick up all of this in the song....almost like he descended into madness when Shar began to take hold.
All the thorms are actually undead. Even that gender swapped Smaugh. Yes i am going to make that comparison. They are both dipshits clad in gold armor that makes them look beyond obese.
It's a bit odd how the offical release of the OST is structured imo... This song and a few others that I've heard while playing share a leitmotif with the song "Surgery of a Hope" from the official release, but even that version just isn't the one I want to hear. Alas, youtube is the only choice for now.
Not sure if your still looking, but I was also searching and found it in “arcane tower” also unreleased ost but plays in underdark and the tower there.
Would have been cool to hear this during his fight, but I somehow convinced him to order his pupils to kill themselves and also for him to kill himself
Does literally every comment here have to be the same? Yes he has a combat-skipping dialogue option. Thought there would be more appreciation for the actual song itself.
Not to even mention that this plays in Cazador fight too, so all those commenters did not fight Cazador either, or do not remember the song :( I liked Cazador's theme a lot so I searched it up but this popped out instead and it's what I'm looking for, I am a violin enthusiast and the suspenseful violin in this is just sooo good
Battle? What battle? The nurses killed each other and he pushed a hook through his own eye, causing him to collapse on the ground. I wouldn't call that a battle.

@@mundanephysics521same! Then I reloaded to before the dialogue to fight and kill him for the achievement
Gerringothe Thorm boss has the same battle theme
I swear this theme plays whenever I have to take an exam and there's 10 mins left.
I love this battle music. The same one in Cazador's battle.
When Raphael’s Final Act started to blast I was like “best game ever, GOTY2023, omg!” 😂

Everybody gangsta, until some random dude has a battle theme.
That whole buliding and everything in it reminded me of bloodborne
What a masterpiece for a true Shar believer! One of the best moments in gaming.
Anyone get Bioshock rapture vibes from this? It's different but nice and so fitting.
Yes very much so. A mix of Bloodborne and Bioshock Dr. Steinman vibes
I was literally thinking about it when i played this section, strong Bioshock vibes
yea definitely bioshock 1! The whole bluish cold vibe in that house of healing and all that medical equipment
Personally got like a Silent Hill or Bloodborne vibe. The shadows, the nurses, his tone and the way he spoke. Probably the coolest boss in terms of presentation.
Me killing cazador before he even gets his turn
Those nurses gives me Silent Hill vibes lol
2nd movement w/ vocals starts at 4:42.
i persuaded his students to kill him so i completely missed this masterpiece!! T_T bgsufiasgfiufsaiujkfhbsguiwhuk
You did not miss it completely. This song starts playing at 8:01 during that scene
You get it when u fight cazador too.

THANK YOU
After 200 hrs of research I found it 🤩
This sounds so much like Gaunter O'Dimm's theme from the Witcher 3, I can't unhear it
that gaunter theme gives me shivers whenever i think of it. its so unnerving. great villian with sadly low screentime.
Uhh, not even close. The tempo is completely different. The only similarity is that they both have strings in both themes.
I just convinced him to get "Cured" and didn't get to hear the battle Music....
Come sisters, soothe me...
The way I completely missed this cuz I just spoke my way out of the whole scenario
0:45 ~ 1:19 what plays in my mind when my mom comes back from work as realize I forgot to do the dishes.
Final seconds of my life.
this is the track i was looking for :D
thanks for posting this!

My dyslexic ass read it as "More oats"

Shostakovich walked so Borislav could fly
made him kill himself so didnt even know he had a unique ost haha
it plays in many other battles too!
it actually plays in cazador's manor and during his fight also, not quite unique, but it's still giving a nice... evil vibe
Thanks for the upload
thanks
Go to the balcony and bombard them... Easiest act 2 boss
best scene
My favorit of the game
The problem is there was no battle...I convinced him to let himself be killed by his nurses 🤣
Still epic music though LOL
you can still hear it from 3:19 even if you choose that
Creepy enemies theme

Underdark, House of Healing and also there's a different version in House of Hope.
Malus is Ketheric uncle (proof found in one letter in house of healing)
This is the Cazador fight music too so now I’m confused
Epic
Damn this is a banger, shame I just convinced him to stab his brain trough his eye hole
have feel
Wait- this is Cazador's fight theme what are ya talking about
You hear this music when you fight Thorms in act 2. What are you talking about?
I talked him down, forced him to kill himself
So much stabbing...
It’s the same music for Casador fight
Would have been cool to hear this during his fight, but I somehow convinced him to order his pupils to kill themselves and also for him to kill himself
made him delete himself so i never fought him
It gives off a bloodborne vibe, you know?
Isn’t this also the Cazador music?
what soundtrack plays for the yurgir boss?
Not me skipping this fight cause i convinced him to kill himself
someone`s hear anywhere music from barbarian trailer except barbarian trailer? i can`t find it
