You can’t really judge anyone’s decision for having a garden a certain way as you don’t know their circumstances, there was a reason this garden was made more low maintenance but to describe it as concrete box is disrespectful to the designer and the client, especially when so much planting went in and lawn space. I’ve done a few very complicated tiling jobs (internally) but what you did with that cladding was above and beyond, what a pain of a job but what a result! Your work is remarkable. I love Stone also and paved my courtyard and all around with the natural papers available in the area. I found a large flat stone that I called my 5 man stone, it took 5 men to lift it. I never had the ability to work the stone and produce the decorative effects that you have. Lovely, fresh and sophisticated !!
