Yessah Fishing adventure starts off with a road trip from the eastside to the north side of the big island (hawaii) to our newly found fishing spot for some camping & good old menpachi night fishing. Our salt water fishing tips for night fishing requires patience. We are accustomed to the old school hawaiian fishing golf ball rig setup with a simple glow light attached to the top of the golf ball. Slow retrieval works best and a good glow grub will bring in many reds without getting snagged too much. Menpachi cooking is best! It tastes so good that it's one of the most sought after fish in hawaii PERIOD!

One good tip with menpachi
Is don’t set the hook to hard cuz the menpachi mouth is super soft and when u set the hook to hard your just ripping the mouth

Oh nice! Coqui Frog heaven over there 🤣 lived there in the acres for 10 years, my mother-in-law has property there and been there for almost 45 years. It's a good area to settle. Everywhere else here on the island is price to ridiculously high.
@@YessahFishing Yeah, I was shocked at how cheap it is there, but how the price just goes through the roof everywhere else. Fern Acres or Hawaiian? Mine is up in Fern Acres. Yeah, I have heard the frogs can be quiet loud, I will just have to sound proof my house I guess if it's that bad. Can't wait for the 14 day quarantine rule goes away so I can come over and do some work on it, it's nothing but solid bush and trees!
You will definitely get used to the coqui frogs, a day will come when it would be hard to sleep without hearing them haha. Hawaiian Acres. The roads there look like dried up river beds 🤣 at least fern acres no need worry too much about replacing tires and suspension wear every 6 months lol.
@@YessahFishing Awesome! Yeah the roads look kinda rough in your videos. It's gonna be rough at first, I'm gonna have to live out of my car, or a tent until I can hack a road in and clear a place to start. It's gonna be like Robinson Caruso for a bit I guess, but I'm stoked. I can't wait to fish!
